Whisky.com reviews the Talisker 10 Years. The aroma of the 10-year-old Talisker is smoky and malty-sweet. The taste is suitably strong, explosive - even spicy. A tremendous finish follows, a real 'afterburner'. Talisker is among the spiciest malts currently available. The new design focuses on more sustainable packaging with less plastic.

I am just getting into whiskey, and my father (non-whiskey drinker) gave me this from his bar when he first heard. Very cool and coincidental that you happened to review it today!
I am sipping Talisker 10 right now and this VDO is making the situation whick i were drinking with you two.
Horst is the only human i trust when it comes to whiskey
The only exception was Jameson - Stout Edition. I love that one, but Horst hated it, he's not a fan of Stout.
Same
Just had a dram of this last night, coincidentally. Im not a fan of the orange color on the redesign but in time ill forget about the older, better packaging. As long as they are not messing with the liquid, Im good.
Every time I buy a bottle of whisky I have this ritual that I do. I always taste it for the first time with you guys! Thanks for the review, now I know what I am drinking :) greetings from Finland!
So cool that Horst has brought along his son to join the family business 😊
Had this last night. It's a distinct chili spiciness coupled with honey texture and sweetness. The peat is kinda strong too. Definitely a slow sipper for me. This is the kind of whisky that makes you work for it.
Yes Horst, we remember those great one liners from Talisker vs Highland Park
Its my second bottle of Talisker 10 years. At first I found it too smokey and too much peat for my taste but this Talisker 10 is the whiskey that developped my palate for stronger, spicier and smokey whiskey. It will now be part of my regular rotation. I really enjoy it.
i hope this is going to be me and my son when we're both older, i love it! he's only 1 so probably best to wait a few more years until i introduce him to the good old single malts haha
gonna be having a glass or 2 of this tonight when I watch the united game. love this whisky
Hallo from Turkiye, I love watching your videos. Take care yourselves.
I love the peated whiskeys Ardbeg (all of them), Laphroaig, and Port Charlotte, I just picked up a bottle of this Talisker 10 and first dram (neck pour) not overly impressed, but however after the second dram it started to grow on me... now I really like it... if they can keep up the quality it will stay on my shelf!
Aye, got myself this a while ago. Very good.
I'm looking for get my bottle open now!!!
Great juice!
Enjoyed it! Salud!
the taste is for sure different comparing the box that says 'only distillery' and 'oldest distillery'
The older bottling is my absolute favourite. And altough good tasting, the newer bottling is not as high on my list comparing the 2
I tried about 15 Whisky below $150 and this one blew my mind, you can actually taste the Island.
Very spicy whiskey. Pepper forward. Strong and bold
I think the Talisker Game of Thrones edition was only 3+ years. Ex bourbon casks. I thought it was fantastic despite the age. Talisker continues to produce amazing stuff.
Is this one worth the money? I dont want to get ahead of myself, buy it and the change my mind and regret
would love to see you to start pairing whisky with cigar
The combination isn't great, as the cigar smoke can easily overpower the whisky flavours.
It’s probably the seal sticker has changed from plastic to paper that made that reduction claim
There is another one with age statement, Talisker 8 YO Special Release
Low 30s? This bottle is $140 in Ontario now!
Canada is not representative when it comes to whiskyprices..
~ $68 in the US!
@@EuropaWill that works out to around thirty eurosdollarspounds, wherever you live ;)
I've just paid £32 at Waitrose, UK!
Yeah, it's about that here in B.C.
Actually they do have an 18 years age statement. Rougly around 150€
Ben prematurely "cheered" :)
Also, bit medicinal and a touch of salt too.
We have a bridge now
🍄
That's the Talisker
Geez guys, do your research before you stumble into a review of such an iconic Scotch single malt. "Do they have other age statements?"...omg lol. They are now using wood for the cork housing now instead of plastic.
BURNED ROOF
Taste of a Hospital is many whiskeys cheaper and
not comparable to this shit
TOILET CLEANER
I’m happy that you’re so proud of your job that you wanted to tell us all :-)
