As a mechanic, you know what tools you want and what tools you don’t want! I’m the same. Nice score, a little bit of a “snap on” snob haha. I agree with the warranties. They all suck. Good job!
Nice haul at a supper price. The old beam torque wrenches comes in handy setting up pinions and adjusting transmission bands. And if you don't work on that kind of stuff to often you wouldn't believe how hard it is to come up with one without having to wait a week.
You're welcome J.C. It seems like there was a couple of other things we used them for in the shop but I can't think of them off hand so it must not be real common or my memory is getting worse than I thought one. It's strange there's some things that never leave your memory then others that seems to be so hard to retain.
Geez buddy you got a score and a half and another half! I have that Snap-on coolant refill kit and it works like a dream. Makes doing a flush/test/refill job so easy.
Damn All of that for under 1,500 dollars I would have to say that Is the best Deal I,ve seen anybody get yet this year congrats to you buddy and thanks for sharing.
Another website to check out for good used Snap On tools is Garage Journal,a tool forum with a classified section.I have bought Snap On tools from there like new and never used. One is an impact driver set never opened still in the packaging.Sign up is free and all you do is message the member that has the tool for sale.Selling on there is 100% free with no selling fees.
I'd say that was a smokin deal. a little light on wrenches though. I've got the same thread chaser set not as nice as your and I use it all the time on my 8N.
Massive score! Those snap on ratcheting screwdriver complete set is like 300$+. And all that other snap on stuff?? Fantastic haul great job and great video!
Nice score JC! Looks like a great deal, I can't find any deals like that! That coolant refiller was a great price, I just bought the 1 that uses the screw on adaptor and it was $219 from snapon but I love it.
i had been wanting one for some time. that was the whole reason i got in contact with them. when i saw the other stuff i just couldnt help myself. i might have a bit of a tool problem.......but who cares! when have we ever said "i have too many tools!"
Great video thanks brother. I have to say you did really good on this tool haul. I didn't do the math but I can see way more than what you paid just inside the box. Like you said probably just in that one drawer. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother. I was in the back ground of the live stream.
You got an O.K. deal here J.C. I had a nice laugh at the screwdriver handles on the ratchets. P.S. an unimportant note: the wrench at 10:38 is not an industrial finish (as indicated by the part no.). Good nab nonetheless.
J.C SMITH ill be very tanksfull if i can have it if you don need send to me i love tools but in this country they are very expensive and dificult to buy because od the prices
Man you will get good use out of all those tools I can't wait to see you working on the truck's are you still working on the truck you painted the frame on just curious?? The 2007 F250 6.8 V10 TO 5.4 V8 CONVERSION (PART 3) TRUCK FRAME
yes but i sold the engine and transmission i was going to use for that truck so i am going to rebuild an engine for it. so the project is stalled right now.
I would keep the SK ratchet they are they're better than the snap on ones. The snap on ratchet have prettier chroming but the SK has a better mechanism.
I would have bought that to resell about 3/4 of the tools and still make money lol. Great find, especially that box of hammers, super nice storage box, top quality there ;)
Like I said before for what you paid with the box, that's too good of a deal to pass up, you can sell the tool box and your toll haul is close to paid for. The ones that are missing are minor, those can be found, trying to buy that all separate would cost way way more than what you paid for it. I had someone say to me what do you need all these tool's for and I said I use them might not be all the time but I do use them, and I hate going and renting or borrowing tools, not to mention but the tools have a value, and I can recoup my money out of them if I ever go to sell them, tools certainly have not gotten cheaper in price, as a matter of fact they are still going up in price, the older stuff might get discounted to move it, but they are not losing any money on it, they are still making their profit on tools even at a discount Like I said, sometimes a good deal is too hard to pass up, because there are some deals you know your just not going to see again anytime soon
im not sure but i think i can recoup a good portion of my money in the things i dont want. i figure the tool box alone is a worth a good portion of the total. it would be very cool if the stuff i didnt want paid for the stuff i do want!
Understood JC. Well let me ask this then...you've mentioned selling trucks at various points in your videos...what I'm really in search of is an 05-07 F-450 or F-550 frame (w/all suspension components) and cab. Don't really need the engine or tranny and unless the interior is a Lariat, I don't need that either. Do you have anything like that you'd consider selling? Thanks
I just put a timing belt in a PT Crusier, and didn't use one Snap-On tool to do it. I've been wrenching for decades and I think Snap-On is grossly overpriced and overrated, IMO.
it doesnt matter what tools you use....it just matters that you do use them. like i said in the video....if you like harbor freight, buy harbor freight. if you like craftsman, buy craftsman.....i prefer snap on so that is what i will buy.
I just think it's arrogant that someone thinks he's too good to use anything other than Snap-On. I don't care what brand of tool I use, just as long as it's at least mechanic grade tools.
i dont think im too good to use something else....i just prefer many of snap on's tools over the others. i could care less what anyone else buys....spend your money on whatever you like and i will do the same.
that might be true for your needs but not mine. Chrome sockets have their place and i use them all the time. you cant always use the thicker wall impact sockets into every application. i own chrome and impact both. i primarily use chrome in 1/4" drive and 3/8" drive.
its ok that you cant see the value in this tool purchase. some people are ok with harbor freight or any other bargain tools....i am not. i prefer a good quality tool that i will hand down to my son. i work just as hard as everyone else for my money....i invest it in things that will hold their value the best. these tools will still be worth a great deal of money long after the bargain tools have been broken and thrown in the scrap pile.
J.C. SMITH PROJECTS I disagree with you. I just think your pay to much. But if your happy that all that counts. I don’t look at tools as a investment because there all over the place. And I have paid good money for some of my tools. But I know I wouldn’t come no where close to getting my money back from them because someone would just buy new. Like I said probably half of them tools I would never use. There some tools I spend a lot on because I know am going to use them a lot. But on a tool I won’t use much I won’t. And for sure don’t need 10 of each. I got a friend just like you he got tools all over the place in his garage probably maybe more than you. Now he getting older and every time I go over there he giving me tools. Because he knows he will never need all of them. But I have no problem with you spending good money on your tools. I just didn’t see that much money in that tool box. And you sure don’t look like you need any of them. You look like a hoarder of tools. But it your money that for sure.
it is very difficult to get mac, matco and cornwell tools waranteed around here...one of my best friends is a snap on dealer and he never questions anything i need warranted.
As a mechanic, you know what tools you want and what tools you don’t want! I’m the same. Nice score, a little bit of a “snap on” snob haha. I agree with the warranties. They all suck. Good job!
Nice very nice tools sir. I'm looking at the rethreading kit as we speak, it's on special this month
That 48 piece set is made by Lang Tools for Snap-On and other tool truck brands. Save yourself money and buy the Lang set for $63 from Tooltopia.
that's a great score!! probably be able to sell off what you don't need and have little to no money in what you keep!! awsome find
i think your right mike. i was very excited about this deal!
Very nice score congratulations thanks for sharing your stuff
thanks for watching. i hoped people would enjoy it.
Nice haul at a supper price.
The old beam torque wrenches comes in handy setting up pinions and adjusting transmission bands. And if you don't work on that kind of stuff to often you wouldn't believe how hard it is to come up with one without having to wait a week.
i never considered that john...thanks. i guess i will keep that beam torque wrench.
You're welcome J.C. Geez buddy you got a score and a half and another half! I have that Snap-on coolant refill kit and it works like a dream. Makes doing a flush/test/refill job so easy.
every now and then we find a great deal.... i am going to sell off all the non snap on tools and the box.
Damn All of that for under 1,500 dollars I would have to say that Is the best Deal I,ve seen anybody get yet this year congrats to you buddy and thanks for sharing.
thanks and thanks for watching matt! i was very happy with the deal.
That is one heck of a deal you got, and nice haul.Thumbs up 👍
thanks for watching!

Awesome haul...Good deal...Have a great day...
i was very pleased with it mike
Massive score! Those snap on ratcheting screwdriver complete set is like 300$+. And all that other snap on stuff?? Fantastic haul great job and great video!
thanks steven. i thought it was a great deal too.
Nice score JC! Looks like a great deal, I can't find any deals like that! That coolant refiller was a great price, I just bought the 1 that uses the screw on adaptor and it was $219 from snapon but I love it.

A good rep is always your buddy.
That was a great score for sure
not as great as your scores johnny but good for me.
Wow great deal. Awesome video
thanks big daddy. i was like a kid at christmas!
Great video thanks brother. I have to say you did really good on this tool haul. I didn't do the math but I can see way more than what you paid just inside the box. Like you said probably just in that one drawer. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother. I was in the back ground of the live stream.
thanks for watching scott. i was very happy with the deal. i will be selling off the tools i dont want to help recover some of my money.
Wow! Great haul!
thanks jeff!
You got an O.K. deal here J.C. I had a nice laugh at the screwdriver handles on the ratchets. P.S. an unimportant note: the wrench at 10:38 is not an industrial finish (as indicated by the part no.). Good nab nonetheless.
i never looked the part number....he must have had some special application that he bent it for. i am not a fan of the sissy grip tools.
J.C SMITH ill be very tanksfull if i can have it if you don need send to me i love tools but in this country they are very expensive and dificult to buy because od the prices
I love tools
Great find !
it was a good day!
Those 2 snap on ratchets with the 3 sided soft grips were from a short lived run. That style of grip didn't sell well and they discontinued it.
i will have them changed out to the comfort grip or "sissy grip" as i call them.
Man you will get good use out of all those tools I can't wait to see you working on the truck's are you still working on the truck you painted the frame on just curious?? The 2007 F250 6.8 V10 TO 5.4 V8 CONVERSION (PART 3) TRUCK FRAME

I would keep the SK ratchet they are they're better than the snap on ones. The snap on ratchet have prettier chroming but the SK has a better mechanism.
i thought the sk ratchets had a nicer finish
Great deal .
Man you got a hell of a deal for all that I'm starting to buy snapon tools and I'm in school for diesel and get 40 to 55% discount from snap on
i was very happy with the deal! i think i will sell of the tools i dont want and get most of my money back!
Sweet! Tools.
i might have a bit of a "tool problem!"
I would have bought that to resell about 3/4 of the tools and still make money lol. Great find, especially that box of hammers, super nice storage box, top quality there ;)
i am going to sell off all the tools that are not snap on and keep the rest.
Cool 👍 👍
I’ll buy the matco screwdriver set, the Mac and matco ratchets, and the sk sockets.
email me jeffrey. my email is in the description box.
Like I said before for what you paid with the box, that's too good of a deal to pass up, you can sell the tool box and your toll haul is close to paid for.

hey matt! thanks!
Nice score! Let me guess, given the tags on stuff you got extra. Was it a 'pawn shop' score?
right on fred!!
Great video JC
never have to many tools …..
i agree 100%
Thanks for sharing.A++++
gold good buy
@15:50 those are good autobody hammers, how much you want 🙏🙏

not a bad day at the shop!
You got snapon sickness
You didn't pay, your credit did
what do you mean?
Scored on this deal.
If you need to get rid of any tools you can send the my way lol
i will be selling off some of the things that i dont want.
Hey JC... can an 06 F550 2wd be made into a 4wd? I'd think so but thought I'd ask anyway. And would you be interested in a project?
sure it can. i dont usually work on other peoples vehicles. i have so many of my own trucks to fix that it is hard to fit in anything else.
Thanks
i dont today but that could change at any time!
Understood. Well if that happens let me know, I'm interested! Thank you JC!
nice..
thanks darren
How much for the deep 1/2" Sk socket set? im interested!!!
you can email me. my email address is in the description
👍👍👍👍👍😋
LUCKY, NOT A MATCO FAN EITHER
I just put a timing belt in a PT Crusier, and didn't use one Snap-On tool to do it. I've been wrenching for decades and I think Snap-On is grossly overpriced and overrated, IMO.

Looks like the guy who steals them
chrome sockets are stupid to have.
No body uses hand tools much.
And when you do chrome has no use.
abet slightly thinner.
that might be true for your needs but not mine. Chrome sockets have their place and i use them all the time. you cant always use the thicker wall impact sockets into every application. i own chrome and impact both. i primarily use chrome in 1/4" drive and 3/8" drive.
You should do a give away or let us know your ebay name
i will likely sell off the tools i dont want to recoup as much of my money as possible. if i put them on ebay i will let everyone know.
And 14 hundred most of that look like stuff I would never use. I wouldn’t give you no where near that much.
You must have money to burn.
its ok that you cant see the value in this tool purchase. some people are ok with harbor freight or any other bargain tools....i am not. i prefer a good quality tool that i will hand down to my son. i work just as hard as everyone else for my money....i invest it in things that will hold their value the best. these tools will still be worth a great deal of money long after the bargain tools have been broken and thrown in the scrap pile.

But it your money that for sure.
SCORE !!!!!
what you want for the stuff your getting rid of i could use it
george i am going to put it all together in a package and probably sell it on ebay but i can let you know what i have and what i want for it first.
I'll take those junk socket rails off your hands
this guy has literally $50,000 worth of tools
I’ll give you your money back on all of it
no thanks phil....even tho most everything is doubles or triples of what i already have i will keep all the snap on.
Alright that’s okay just keep me in mind if you decide to get rid of em
Sell me some stuff!
what do you want? i am keeping everything snap on.
Matco screwdriver and that matco ratchet
My email is in the description.....make me an offer.
if its not snap on im not keeping them
it is very difficult to get mac, matco and cornwell tools waranteed around here...one of my best friends is a snap on dealer and he never questions anything i need warranted.
