I think we have a classic case of the $10,000 tool box, and $1,000 worth of tools in it. Lol just kidding buddy. Very Nice box. Thanks for the tour. Like to see how fellow mechanics have their layout, and their favorite tools and gadgets. Good work again. Love the vids.
Joel, you seem really down to earth. You haven't changed like some other people on UA-cam. I really look forward to watching your videos!!! Keep up the great work👍
That same exact Blue-Point magnet was found on my truck near the cabin filter lost and lonely and forgotten until I found it three years later. Looks just like yours all worn out. What a coincidence never seen any one show off their magnet until I found mine then here you are showing off yours. HAH!
Awesome tour! Wish I could afford a box like that! For Christmas I bought myself the Harbor Freight 44" box. A step up from my old Husky with broken drawer slides. I'm not a professional mechanic so it just sits in my garage and should suit my needs until it's overflowing with new tools.
You got a lot of space for more snap on tools could get expensive I've got tools from my dad 35 years ago love them great to remember my dad love your video nice box I've got a master series box
love the tour bro!! gave me alot of idears for my own toolbox layout. epic box and it was so good to see the model car looking badass on the top. thankyou for the shoutout! fucking love the mac tools banter. as always bro... getcha pull!!! love the channel!!! \m/ \m/
I recently bought a set of snap on needle nose pliers I've used channel lock brand for years but the snap on pliers grip like nothing else it won't slip so yes worth the cost
I gave them all the adresses I got. They should be sent out soon. I'll message them and see whats up! Yeah it feels awesome having my own box again bro.
That pair of Knipex hose clamp pliers, there is an updated pair that is locking.I have one and worth the money. That brake caliper press,I have the #279 Lang version which I use a lot now.Lang basically makes that brake caliper press for the tool truck brands.
Where did you get the storage tray for the extra extensions and the holder for the wratchets and could you also tell me about a REALLY good tool box drawer liner
Hey bud, love the videos! I'm not a professional but I love Snap-On and i'm hoping to get some soon. You mentioned the holders for your socket wrenches at like 10:30 or thereabouts. What are they called and where can I find them? Same for the wrench holders at like 7:30 mark. Keep 'em comin!
For the top, I recommand look into Bed Liner Coated Steel Top (KWSP3068ABL, but please confirm with the rep.). I have stainless steel top, and already had quite some scratches in less than a year from plastic tray, clip board, and small tool.
I like your new toolbox. I need to upgrade my toolbox. I'm working on trying to get the snapon epiq 84 custom drawer design. One I'll get it. Maybe after my shop pick up more work. LOL I have a toolbox tour you are more then welcome to check it out. Great toolbox bro!!🖒🖒
+Anthony Rodriguez thanks man! I had so many comments about the Ratchet holders the last time I did a toolbox tour I made a video about them. Check it out! ua-cam.com/video/2dorPNucI_g/v-deo.html
liked your video, nice tool box I have a krl 1023cpot with rhino top, don't forget to get your badge with your name for your tool box it's free the card is on your owner manual.
Joel, Who makes your boots? The toes caught my eye. I am hard on boots and am lucky if a pair will last me 6 months. I am always look for some that may last longer.
+Josh Leduc Dakota is the brand. They have a Kevlar toe cap(no steel) and a soul they call tarantula grip which is completely oil resistant. These boots are over 5 years old and still comfortable. The souls are like new still. Under $200. They smell like shit but I don't care. Hahaha
Thanks Joel.I've had the pair of Carhartt's I wear currently a little over a year. They have a rubber coated steel toe. Which is why I bought them. I was hoping that would help them to last longer. In truth it has because the damage that the rubber took would have been straight to the leather and the steel toe would be showing. The soles are pretty much shot though. I suppose 14+ hours a day of wearing them everyday will do that. I paid just shy of $165.00 US for them. All things considered they have been a really good boot.
very nice box and tour Jole. Quick question if I may . When I was wrenching as a job my car insurance went up by 10% because I was a mechanic .When I mentioned it they said it was because mechanics are generally nutters and don't take care of their cars . To say I was pissed was an understatement .My car was perfect because of my job and a lot of OCD Do you have the same premium load because of your job . . Darren .
I will be doing a full review on it very soon..It's a great product and great customer service. Click this link if you're interested in buying it now..It's full of great features that I will go into detail in an upcoming video amzn.to/2njeJaf
+lowpressure67 thanks man! The red Ratchet holders is a Snapon item and the black one is from the dollar store funny enough. I had so much feedback on them from my first toolbox tour that I made a video about then. Check it out. ua-cam.com/video/2dorPNucI_g/v-deo.html
Where did you get the trays that your ratchets are in? Got a part number? Also do you know if Snap on sells the Ext trays by them selves? All of my extensions are in these bins and just piled up. I am hoping to have a couple of vids up by this weekend including a tool box tour but I still need to organize some.
+Kevin Gibson the trays for the extensions I think you probably can. Ask your dealer, I have at times asked and they just have a few laying around. The Ratchet holders I made a video in them, everyone wanted to know where I got them in my first toolbox tour. Here's the link. ua-cam.com/video/2dorPNucI_g/v-deo.html
Thanks. No dealer so I will see if I can find them on the website. DIY guy doing cool stuff in my garage and helping my kid decide if he wants to be a tech in 2 years after high school.
How do you like the socket organisers? there the plastic ones hey? saw them on my snap on truck in Australia on friday, looking at buying a 40inch combo with a locker, he said he would throw them in, but i would think that they would break normaly? combo is costing me around 4000usd
+John Cotta I did a video on them a little while ago. Feel free to check it out. I use them and have held up so far. ua-cam.com/video/UzXu-egEDGo/v-deo.html
your welcome, Do you happen to know the part# for the Snap-on one? I asked my dealer over the phone today because I was on a road call He had no clue what I was talking about. Thank you
I have a set of Mac knuckle savers 6mm to 19mm I bought 20 years ago. They’ve been great to me, comfortable and durable. Why do you think they’re junk?
+Earl I've owned the power probe for about 15 years and it started to deteriorate recently. The snapper I just got a few months ago and only used it twice. So far so good though.
When you only work on one brand at a dealer its honestly better having stuff missing... I have snapon 15mm sockets sitting in what's basically a storage drawer, and about 8 different 14mm sockets of various brands in their places around on my socket holders as I will actually reach for them at some point, unlike a 15mm.
Looking at buying an Epiq 68" myself, were you able to get a good deal? My rep has a 84" for a better price than a 68" right now. The 84" has a better rebate than that 68", but i want the 68" not the 84".
+Jord TheMechanic I have seen them. I don't have a Marco dealer close to me so it wasn't really an option for me. They look kinda cool but I'm a Snapon fan all the way.
+TheRealDeal hahaha no shit. Hahaha thanks man.
Joel, you seem really down to earth. You haven't changed like some other people on UA-cam. I really look forward to watching your videos!!! Keep up the great work👍
+Ray Greenlee thank you very much Ray I really appreciate it bro.

I recently bought a set of snap on needle nose pliers I've used channel lock brand for years but the snap on pliers grip like nothing else it won't slip so yes worth the cost
Did any one else get their jag clamps. I have seen nothing. Feels different having your own box again. The box is super nice thanks for the tour.
I gave them all the adresses I got. They should be sent out soon. I'll message them and see whats up! Yeah it feels awesome having my own box again bro.
Hey Brother sweet looking box. You did a great job setting it up and it looks nice.
+Brian morgan thanks man!!
That pair of Knipex hose clamp pliers, there is an updated pair that is locking.I have one and worth the money. That brake caliper press,I have the #279 Lang version which I use a lot now.Lang basically makes that brake caliper press for the tool truck brands.
+wafrederick the hose clamp pliers aren't locking. I didn't even know they made them that way until after I purchased these ones.
They are out now
Those are the best drawer liners, got mine at Sears.
Very nice setup sir and great tools
where did you get the ratchet and extension rails from? great video!
Well Joel I bit the bullet and bought a 68" Epiq. Sonic blue with chrome trim and a stainless top. Dealer will be delivering it next week.

The box is badass. I don't know if this is even possible but if you could get a red anodized stainless steel top it would add to me badass factor.
+Adam Johnson that actually would be badass. Thanks bro!

+JERM C thanks bro! Yeah his is just a wee bit bigger. Hahaha
The Snap-On Tool Review that's what she said
+Hard Knocks Forge bahahaha true. The top comment is "it's a lot to take in" that works there too. Hahaha
We are all sick bastards.
For the top, I recommand look into Bed Liner Coated Steel Top (KWSP3068ABL, but please confirm with the rep.). I have stainless steel top, and already had quite some scratches in less than a year from plastic tray, clip board, and small tool.

You're welcome bro!
Dude those (red and black) holders for the 1/2 ratchets what are they called and where did you get them
Nice box man... I thought that Toyota had you in a special box for their shop?
I left toyota last month. I had to buy a new toolbox. I'm way happier this way.
Congratulations on the move. Are you in a comprehensive shop? Also, how are you liking the new box?
That is one awesome tool box
Thanks dude!
How do you like the socket organisers? there the plastic ones hey? saw them on my snap on truck in Australia on friday, looking at buying a 40inch combo with a locker, he said he would throw them in, but i would think that they would break normaly? combo is costing me around 4000usd
Timing light, good old times!
Right?? HAHA I'll Never get rid of it though. Apparently it's a bit of a collector item.
Keep it in honor, never sell it! ;-)
Can you make a video 1/4 inch torque wrenche
Very nice tour, the Epiq looks great. Congratulations, enjoy. What was the issue with the 14.4 3/8 impact?
+Earl I pushed it to its limits and it just stopped working. Totally my fault. HAha
What size swivels do you use most? Especially working on Toyotas?
+brian strelick 10, 12, 14, 17mm are the most common sizes in most import vehicles. Get those sizes in 3/8" and you won't waist any money I tell you.
what brand were those yellow crimpers? are they good?
+John Cotta I did a video on them a little while ago. Feel free to check it out. I use them and have held up so far. ua-cam.com/video/UzXu-egEDGo/v-deo.html
very good video where I can get snap on tool in Mexico or if there is a way to send it to the United States
cool setup. where did you get your ratchets holder at?
+Spencer Hess thanks! the red one is a Snapon item and the black one is from a dollar store believe it or not. Haha

so I looked through your videos from Nov 30th 2016 and found it. Thank you
I have a set of Mac knuckle savers 6mm to 19mm I bought 20 years ago. They’ve been great to me, comfortable and durable. Why do you think they’re junk?
Does anyone know where Joel has been ? I hope everything is alright.
Which soldering torch do you prefer, Snap-on or Power probe?
+Earl I've owned the power probe for about 15 years and it started to deteriorate recently. The snapper I just got a few months ago and only used it twice. So far so good though.

Me as a 2nd year apprentice building his tool collection: 😮😮😍😍
Straight cringe
@@breackingbad9042 says the one replying to some random persons comment from over a year ago😘
Why the emojis tho lol
I was surprised at how much off brand you have for basic hand tools. Never would have guessed there would be so much MAC in that Snappy box.
Nice and roomy...you could almost live in there!
HAHA yeah I'm in love with it!
what brand are those ratchet holders
+fatz slim the red one is Snapon and the black on is from a dollar store believe it or not.
Need too buy tools for the tools box
Who makes the plier rack?
Holy missing and mismatched socket sets, that would drive me up the wall
When you only work on one brand at a dealer its honestly better having stuff missing... I have snapon 15mm sockets sitting in what's basically a storage drawer, and about 8 different 14mm sockets of various brands in their places around on my socket holders as I will actually reach for them at some point, unlike a 15mm.
I'd get one of them but I don't have the money right now lol I have a Mac tech series with a top box
u have more master craft in your snap on box. plue blue point makes a ratchet wrench , and sells gear wrench also all lifte warranty.
What happened to the old company box
+W Smith I left Toyota. It was extremely slow and I couldn't handle it so I left.
Lol "sorry guys drinking water cause im a lil sick" my uncle used to say he didnt like to drink water cause it rusts your pipes =)
nice box
Is that the OEM Epiq toolbox liner? I need some new liners for my Snap on Classic 78 and that looks perfect. Where can I get it?
Yes it is. Not sure if you can buy it anywhere else
Nice box man
What happened to the audio during the video
+miguel mendez my mic fucked up and the internal mic on the phone picked up the compressor in the background. Pissed me off.
That thermometer... that's not oral, is it?
It sure is brother. Wanna come and get your temp checked??
Looking at buying an Epiq 68" myself, were you able to get a good deal? My rep has a 84" for a better price than a 68" right now. The 84" has a better rebate than that 68", but i want the 68" not the 84".
Joel , did you look into the Matco Revel X before you bought the Epic ? whats your opinion on the New Revel X Boxes ? thanks
+Jord TheMechanic I have seen them. I don't have a Marco dealer close to me so it wasn't really an option for me. They look kinda cool but I'm a Snapon fan all the way.
