MY THOUGHTS: The big people crush the small people. The ones at the lowest level. who according to the world's standards are not worth a penny, flew away from the scene without anybody's notice. The ones who are slightly above that level made it through for a while longer. Then they were used up. Next, the minions of the big people were offered cash in exchange for lives. BUT AT LAST, even the big people got burnt to death. This makes me question: Where is the honesty, simplicity, and the innocence of good people being paid for? Is it enough punishment for evil powerful people to have a bad end after having led an extravagant and frolicing life all along?
Can tell this is a Canadian film by the hockey stick visible in the firebox at 4:54. A much bigger giveaway than the "National Film Board of Canada" thing.
(Just my opinion) This story tells about a country that led by a leader (played as captain) that is good in doing tasks but poor in leadership skills.... He is doing all works by himself, the other three workers are sleeping at the back, only assisted by a worker.. There are two groups of people..the rich and the poor people.. The leader want the rich people to realize his presence as the leader, and he want to amazes them.. ( we can see this when he commands his worker to put more charcoals-using the mic even though the worker is exactly in front of his eyes) The nation eventually hits the hard times, strucked by the problem, but the leader did not aware about it since he was distracted by a rich, beautiful woman.. The message is very clear.. money and woman.. His right-hand man seems to realize about it..but he was panicked and worried.. he did all he could but he had no idea of what he is doing..the only one thing he know is to put the charcoal in fire.. (we can't expect him to know everything.. everyone has their own expertise) so, this person guess the solution is to burn more charcoal until no more left.. (I will leave the rest to this comment reader)
So the moral of the story here is, don't drink a gallon of energy drinks while designing a locomotive. And don't hire the same architects who built the rides at Six Flags to design a railroad for it to drive on.
*You are right capitalism fails but Communism has never been tried successfully yet. Unless you count the Native American Economy Pre-Columbus or even the Hutterites a Christian Commune.* Maybe if Communism had voting and had specific checks and balances on government along with more bottom down worker control it could work. It is just Communist leaders are human and prone to use their power to their benefit. And there benefit can involve skimming tax money for personal income not involved in State Business and hiring Communist faction loyalist instead of qualified people who can be communist but is not always the case. Plus, Government however benevolent can become disconnected to the people needs and become agenda oriented not realizing the effect of their policies on the little guy they fully believe they are protecting. *Communism works better small scale where government are easily monitored and officials Can easily see the effects of their policy on citizens with out being several government channels removed like a Native American Village worked.*
This is why I hired the same musician that did "Triplets of Belleville" to work on this film with me. Triplets of Belleville is the best musical score I've ever heard.
@SilverGear_ Thanks for the positive interest in my film. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way to release the sound track on its own. The only way would be to contact the National Film Board of Canada. Even though I'm the director of the film, even I would be unlikely to get them to generate a separate music track. The budget on that film is closed, and no further money would be spent on it. Thanks for the interest, though. Glad you liked it!!

poor people are taken advantage of. they gave everything for the train - aka their nation- but did not recieve the appropriate reward (they were sent to their death) many workers today are underpaid/ soldiers are under appreciated.

Or don’t build roller coasters as railways
yes, i agree
The barking sea urchin is a dog
So inspiring to see contemporary media with serious ideas written into it.

Is it enough punishment for evil powerful people to have a bad end after having led an extravagant and frolicing life all along?
what did the cow represent?. A calamity?
Meh, it's a pointless but still very hilarious world, where no one wins
This is called an attack from communism(moutain and cow) to capitalism(the train)
Nature perseveres i think. Life will continue to persist, even when our egocentric species goes extinct.
Think harder.
That main melody on the guitar/balalaika/banjo/whatever the fuck it was fucking slaps

(Just my opinion)
This story tells about a country that led by a leader (played as captain) that is good in doing tasks but poor in leadership skills.... He is doing all works by himself, the other three workers are sleeping at the back, only assisted by a worker..
There are two groups of people..the rich and the poor people.. The leader want the rich people to realize his presence as the leader, and he want to amazes them.. ( we can see this when he commands his worker to put more charcoals-using the mic even though the worker is exactly in front of his eyes)
The nation eventually hits the hard times, strucked by the problem, but the leader did not aware about it since he was distracted by a rich, beautiful woman..

*Communism works better small scale where government are easily monitored and officials Can easily see the effects of their policy on citizens with out being several government channels removed like a Native American Village worked.*

this gives me a triplets of belleville feeling and I love it!
This is why I hired the same musician that did "Triplets of Belleville" to work on this film with me. Triplets of Belleville is the best musical score I've ever heard.
@@MrArachnophobe It's a wonderful piece. Is there any chance the track itself could be released on its own?
@SilverGear_ Thanks for the positive interest in my film. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way to release the sound track on its own. The only way would be to contact the National Film Board of Canada. Even though I'm the director of the film, even I would be unlikely to get them to generate a separate music track. The budget on that film is closed, and no further money would be spent on it. Thanks for the interest, though. Glad you liked it!!
