If you have Prometheus, the second mission in, if done as an actual mission and not open world. All you need is a bow and the two packs of arrows from the workshop. All the items needed to craft for the mission are in the cave. You have to build 4 thatch ramps to get up, kill 4 worms, and 2 teenage worms and then craft a contact device. Scrap the anvil and the thatch hut to make rope and the other materials for it. I’ve gotten it to an average of 6-8 minutes per run on hard/hardcore. It pays 500 ren and 200 Exotics in less than 10 minutes!

Thanks for this. I just did this mission on Saturday, and farted around not knowing what I was doing, and still only took about three hours, but I also made a rifle, and anti-poison in my mini-base. I don't know if they changed it, but decent knives are the best against the sandworm. I have been struggling with the bow/rifle, and got annoyed after I died. I ran in grabbed my gear, and just destroyed it with the inarus ventura knife, and that was on my bow character. I am thinking about respecing my rifle skills into knives, since I use them far more.
In my case the mission starts always at 5pm and a storm is ALWAYS incoming. I have to wait out the most of it in the pod in the initial location and the time goes close to 15 minutes.
Absolutely depends on what kind of storm and if you went into the right talents for storms. Going into the right talents for storms you can get in and out with heatwaves no issues. There seems to be storms most times but not every time you load in though it happens rarely for me even after testing this 3 times after your comment. Name of the game is get it done asap and get out. If your having issues use the biomore backpack the healing on that is insane and was not in the game when we remade the video.
@@LateNightStream I trust you, not here to argue. Maybe it depends on the OW your character is coming from, or there are other hidden factors. I've done it 12 times and had always a storm. Two were heatwaves and in fact I could survive them, the other 8 where sandstorms, and I had to find shelter. The strong ones also create a huge visibility issues, since the mission starts at 5pm and sun sets very fast. Never tried the biomore backpack. Still it's probably the fastest way, and thanks for the hint of the rouge arrows, that really kill the boss in a couple of shots.
Love the guide! Slight correction though, 90 talents points is the intended amount. Do you know if there is a speed run leader board for this mission? Would be fun to see people's fastest times. I know the sandworm is weak against fire, which is why the red exo build works so well, but I'm curious how well the red exo fire knife would work in this mission. I think if you can get comparable time to the bow it would be better since you won't have to keep buying arrows. Also last question, how come you use the naneo armor and not the st-700 armor that has a projectile damage buff?
St700 does more damage yes (not much) but naneo has the largest physical and storm resistance. Knifes would take more time due to the fact you can’t always hit crits which makes bows safer and better. Though use what you wish. I give people the method make it your own… about points… I have several characters only at 75 and two at 88 none at 90. Fastest time I’m unsure of.
You can also just modify your files if your gonna exploit and give yourself millions of Ren and exotics. I do have a video on that XD but this was more for people who wanna earn it legit. That's the way I play so I offer both methods to both types of players. Thanks for the comment =)
Yes you can, you can stack up to 4 and it’s still more than before…if you have been following the updates…they buffed how much modules actually have by double then added Diminishing returns, but it Still more than before.

Yah but not everyone has the DLC. But most the time this takes me 5-7 mins I say 10 just for buffer. Love the comment though! Good stuff!

My new go to is the tree house mission in the new DLC. I can do that in about 20 minutes now and it gives 300 exotics on hard. It's made quick and ez.
