    Hi, I am of caucasian background, but I still love your videos. :) The way you explain things, how you come across, and obviously your level of expertise are all Fantastic! I am 38 but still have very oily (however often dehydrated) skin with acne since I was 13yo (non stop, all my life basically, where all available medication did absolutely nothing to, incl. isotretinoine). So any knowledge I can obtain from the experts like you (who are also very pleasant to listen and look at) is very valuable to me.

    Great content as usual, just to have more clarity on few things, you said in the anti-aging skin routine video that its ok to combine most of the products you indicated on this video not to combine such as the niacinamide with buffet, buffet with Retinoid as well as some of the vitamin c with niacinamide.
    To me I feel it's better to choose just one or two products from The ordinary, however since our skin issues require most of the ingredients you talked about in the anti-aging skincare routine, which other brands can you recommend for skin of color to achieve a high percentage of these ingredients.

    Hello Dr. Rattan, first off, truly grateful for your generosity in sharing your expertise with us POC. I live in San Francisco, Ca and have been using The Ordinary skin care line. It is because of you that I’ve been loyal to the brand. Similar to what others mentioned, this most recent video seems contradictory to your Anti-Aging and Hyperpigmentation Layering Ordinary videos. Seems like the Niacinamide is not to be combined with the Alpha Arbutin, Vit. C and Retinoid? I’m now super confused, so I hope to have some clarification in your upcoming layering videos.

    • @msf8297
      @msf8297 3 роки тому +3

      niaciamid is not to be combined with vitamin c. The ordinary has two products 1) Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA and 2)Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%. ascorbic acid is vitamin c. so, shouldn't combine niacinamide with Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% because it has vitamin c but you can combine niacinamide with Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA [it does not have vitamin c)

  • @LadyBunique

    As always, my thanks to Dr Rattan for doing these videos and focusing specifically on SOC which is without a doubt underrepresented when it comes to the cosmetic industry and the allied pharmaceutical industries. I think the confusion stems from the chart that Dr Rattan uses. You can use Buffet with niacinamide and retinoids/retinol.
