£27.99 in GB, still a great deal. Just snagged that and a green version of the 550 that's £17.99 for my dad. I showed him olights the other day and he was gobsmacked. Gave him an i1R 2 Pro that puts out more light than his big maglite 😂
It’s such a good deal. I think they increased the price a little after I recorded. Of course. Lol. He’ll love that! These Acebeams are such a good value. Maglight and other brands like that just don’t have the output for the price. Olight, acebeam, Lumintop, and a bunch of other brands just pour our light for so much less money than you spend on those big ole lights. 😂

If they would've made the i5t with a real 14500 there would be no need for the i5r, i could go on about it.
I 100% agree with you! And Acebeam is excellent! I love Acebeam and Lumintop as alternatives to Olight. Acebeam haveing excellent feature to cost ratios and Lumintop for having some really excellent premium options. There’s so many good options and brands out there that most people get lured in by whatever is main stream. I love collecting flashlights and I also have no idea why! 😅
Dude this light is so good. Especially in comparison to i3T and i5T. It just has so much more output. Yes, it gets hot, but it’s the size of the light. It’s going to happen. Even big lights get hot. 🤷🏻♂️
Olight is getting hammered by their competitors now, especially by those offering better tints. I wonder if it will be a similar trend to when we had brands like streamlight and surefire diminishing and Olight hitting a high point?

You should have used 10440 Li-on battery on the Olight i3T it's alot brighter compared to using Ni-Mh batteries. Maybe it would match the 1000 lumens of the Pokelit AA. I use 10440 battery on my 2nd Olight i3T.
I’ve played around some with swapping batteries out in the Olights but I really just need to spring on a lumen meter. Then I could see the difference in lumens. I’ll have to put on in the Olight and put it side by side with the Acebeam to see how they compare.

Great video buddy but I already own this flashlight!! The only problem with this flashlight is that it gets to hot with the battery that it comes with so I am just running It with a 1.2v rechargeable battery and it still kicks ass! But thank you for the info and God bless 🙏
@bracketify yeah if you have it in medium it should last longer without getting so hot! But as soon as you put it on high mode it gets hot fast but on medium you should be fine

If only the i5R had a medium setting. Same with the i3T. The low setting is just too low and the high setting is just too high! The Pokelite AA is perfect for what it is.
I need to just pull the trigger and buy the meter from JL Hawaii so I can do Lumen tests on the channel. I need to validate these lumen claims that manufacturers are throwing out there.
I just was never a fan of the Arkfeld. I know its popular because of the shape, but the performance just isn’t there. I love my Baton 3. It definitely is a powerhouse in a small package.

I would hands down suggest this acebeam over the i5t/i5r to anyone . Olight has some serious competition now !

If this had a strobe feature and a clicky magnetic tail cap, it would be the perfect EDC torch. Fell short of awesome unfortunately.

1000 lumens on a 14500 is nice and all but how many lumens can it reach on a regular AA?
I looked over the specs trying to see if it would show and I can’t find anything on it. My guess would be 500-600 lumens on a standard AA.

Oh yeah it does get hot. It’s to small to dissipate the heat from the 1,000 lumens would be my best guess. Still a great buy though!

There's a Titanium version of this - maybe the 500 version. The titanium is almost like a Damascus pattern(print?) doing the rounds....anyone got one?

Save you money. I got mine and it's nowhere near as bright as the Thrunite Saber @ 550 lumens.
If you cannot scientificaly measure the light in lumens, the number 1000 lumens means squat. Yes, the buyers can go based on the brightness.
