I remember playing this game in like 1999. I have an emulated version of it. I still havn't started it again.
Some of the best RPG's were on the psx.
god, i miss breath of fire.. 3 and 4 were the best! Too bad there will never be a new BoF in the same style :(

Sortly afterward, they steal from the town's corrupt mayor and re-distribute the money to the village. The mayor, however, is secretly a member of a large crime syndicate. The mayor contacts two hitmen, the horse brothers Balio and Sunder, to seek revenge, who proceed to burn down the trio's home and violently attack, beat them easily and leave them for dead. Awakening a short while later, Ryu finds himself in the care of a woodsman named Bunyan who had found no trace of his friends. Belirving them to be alive, Ryu travels to the city of Windia where he meets Nina, child daughter of the King, who helps him escape Balio and Sunder, who are now on his trail.
I never use debuffs during boss battles. They always miss and I feel like I waste turns when I use them.
We can "probably" help Beyd. "Super Combo" finish... Didn't know we changed the game to Street fighter! lmao

I had to watch this video for 26 minutes to find out where I had to go next. Fuck the fact that he was in Wyndia at the 13 minute mark, I had to follow along for another 13 minutes because I didn't know how to initiate the next main story event.

havent played the game, but why does Ryu and Nina look different from some other bof3 videos ive seen? Here, they are so small!
There are child and adult versions of the characters depending on which part of the story.

You start with them at their childhood. Later in the game, there's a pivotal moment that introduces a timeskip and we get to control Ryu and Nina all grown up, as well as Rei's small change in visuals.
How did you get away with that super combo on Zig? He was facing Beyed.
You can pull off any attack so long as it kills Zig. If doesn't, you're in trouble.
