Purchased case 12 Quarts Amsoil for 01 Silverado W and will replace competitor product at 306,100 going for 500,000 → Went to Synthetic at 22,000 and sold within 20 miles - amsoil jobber claims particulate removal down to 01 Micron and have been thinking of 20 Micron 95% ( probably 80% it is all on a log curve ) with intent to study babbit clearance « when new I discover shard's of metal several mm in size fragments up to 0.3 inch (7 mm) so be sure I know about jack-stands as Esco never worked again when he missed on that and discuss how in-gear won't hold with one wheel off the ground and for blocking I use wood in the form of 5" tree limb
Factory chocks are not even worth throwing away;
Test for hold by how the hydraulic is released on the jack;
EMS will not do ya any good if you miss on such things;
Insurance is for you relatives not you → _there is no_ "Or else" *you get it right*

Never put Jack stands under car axle, it will damage them.
Great video, I am also interested what undercoating is that and does affect any of the parts that the mechanics have to get at?
Thank you! NH oil is what I am using on this car. NH oil keeps parts rust clean and if you have to remove them, they come out easily because it provide lubrication too.

I would like to change my camry 2011's transmission fluid on my own with the help of the drain and fill tutorial you made. Scanguage 2 is pretty expensive, instead i bought an 'ELM327' scantool instead and it happens to give a transmission temperature reading. Should I depend on the temperature readings it gives? Thanks for the good content on your channel.
Have you tried reading transmission temperature?
@repairvehicle I have tried reading the transmission temperature while the car was up to operating temperature and it gave a reading of abut 205°F on a hot day (I'm in Libya and it's pretty hot here) I just want to make sure if all scan tools give accurate readings.
I don't know how other scan tools work and how accurate. I know scangauge is accurate.

There is a recall going on with those Harbor Freight jack stands. You can return it for a refund or store credit. No receipt needed.
I have checked mines, they are good. Bought them 8 years ago
So I jack up one side between the 2 notches, now how can I put the stand between the notches ?

FYI and safety friend.. they was a recall on those harbor freight Pittsburg jack stands.. for your life sake spend some money on a brand jack stand.. not my opinion it's a fact.

@@repairvehicle Thank you for your replies. I have always bought craftsman they are in my price range and good for what I use them. I bought those stands from harbor and did a test on them several times and failed, this was even before the recall. I returned them and went to lowes bought a brand name. Just what worked for me. Stay safe bud.
