During my childhood nd teenage days...I was against having previous days food again given after reheating...at times I used to get angry with my Amma telling that food should be served fresh... I am glad your mentioned about cars (manual vs automatic). I dont know if you are aware, most of times manual drivers are associated with male masculinity or drive enthusiasts. This trend is not currently a much of a thing in mainland kerala as almost all of them learn to drive in a manual vehicle. Though, there could be a future generation who might only learn automatic as it is becoming more popular day by day. I hope this does not become a major thing. I am not too fond of dishwashers either.. My personal experience is that dishwashers (the model that I used) don't work well with oily Indian dishes.. However it seems to work okay if you do an initial level of scrubbing..

Same dishwasher guilty, sometimes I use my dishwasher, but I don't know why I have major trust issues with my dishwasher - I think because it wasn't bought by me, it was integrated with the kitchen, although I have cleaned it 6 times before using due to my OCD. But during a busy work week, I forget my trust issues and think about the extra time I get to spend with family watching a tv series 😁. I also have issues with meal prepping with freezer. I just cant trust freezers but I trust my fridge (way too much sometimes - expiry dates exist for a reason).
I have heard some say about using mop for cleaning. They say cleaning with mop is not enough... We have use towel for cleaning the floor.. Also using vacuum cleaner is not good cleaning.. 😂

I am glad your mentioned about cars (manual vs automatic). I dont know if you are aware, most of times manual drivers are associated with male masculinity or drive enthusiasts. This trend is not currently a much of a thing in mainland kerala as almost all of them learn to drive in a manual vehicle.

I am not too fond of dishwashers either.. My personal experience is that dishwashers (the model that I used) don't work well with oily Indian dishes.. However it seems to work okay if you do an initial level of scrubbing..

Same dishwasher guilty, sometimes I use my dishwasher, but I don't know why I have major trust issues with my dishwasher - I think because it wasn't bought by me, it was integrated with the kitchen, although I have cleaned it 6 times before using due to my OCD. But during a busy work week, I forget my trust issues and think about the extra time I get to spend with family watching a tv series 😁. I also have issues with meal prepping with freezer. I just cant trust freezers but I trust my fridge (way too much sometimes - expiry dates exist for a reason).
