- Let's wig out! We are transforming two vintage wigs from Sunlight wigs.... Whatever that is. I managed to find two of the same wigs on Ebay so I snatched them up for todays video. These wigs were originally bought from a Kmart back in 1973! Let's see how they hold up in 2020!

James monocyclic was early "hair" made out of very fine plastic.😍love you James! Most women bought 2 of the same style so one could be at the wig shop being cleaned and restyled so they could switch them out and still have their "normal" wig on

That was the WORST episode ever! As a huge fan of the Golden Girls I didn't get why this episode, involving neighbors that had never been seen before but we're treating them like they've been there this whole time and giving them a whole story and we're barely even seeing the actual stars of the show, needed to exist. They had one good joke in the entire episode (Blanche: I didn't like when my kids got older, I meant I was getting older. They were like noisy calendars!) and the rest was soooo beyond fucking boring. It pissed me off so much when I first saw it that I don't think I watched Golden Girls for a whole year after that. It was almost as bad as the 'Skinner ain't really Skinner' episode of the Simpsons.
Now that I've finished watching the video (sorry, I just feel very strongly about that stupid fucking episode) this wig came out gorgeous. Reminds me of that one look of Joslyn's from season 6, I think it might have been the runway after the Shade the Rusical challenge but I can't remember for the life of me.

I haven’t gotten to the part where she talks about it yet, but would that by chance be the episode that’s about the cast of Empty Nest and existed purely to promote the new “spinoff” (I use that word lightly since the characters never existed on GG before that)... I’ve never seen it, just heard of it. Sounds like a horrible 22-minute commercial for a shitty sitcom

I remember Empty Nest, which I didn't like too much, but Kristy McNichol, I remember most from "Family," which was too grown up for me to watch when I was a kid. Very dramatic show!

That starter back-tease on the bangs was my real hair teeny bopped look in ‘87. Y’know, where it was sprayed heavily into place....maybe a banana clip in the back....and the overall look was “tsunami bang”. Oh, and robot head lady...she was scary AF when I was an 8 year old, sans robot voice (she would’ve been so awesome with that....Barbie styling head with Speak & Spell voice!) 😂
