Jaymes, I just looked up the Tammy Faye speech you just spoke of and it was awesome. I was raised watching her in the 1980’s and I’ve always loved her so much. I remember listening to records of her singing “puppet songs” when I was young. She was a great example of how Christians are supposed to behave. 😊

I remember back in the early 70’s Grand Old Oprah singers were wearing a style that kinda looked like a Gibson Girl updo. Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette sported that look which kinda was inspired by Katherine Ross in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I really wish you would do a Lynn Anderson (I never promised you a rose garden) wig. Now she had some bigggg hair! Love the blue wig it’s so fun and whimsical.

The Surreal Life was my show back in the day, LOVED IT! And Jessica Simpson wigs are from the same company Raquel Welch’s wigs was from, HairUWear. Not sure if they have her name on it still, but Sally’s sells synthetic HairUWear wigs online. Jessica’s wigs came in human hair selections and synthetic options, though nowhere near as expensive as Raquel’s.

OMG... my very first time in drag (1980) was with an old Paula Young wig my mom had. I was a medium brown with frosted streaks! I restyled that girl using double sided tape and my bowling ball... thank gawd no one had a camera!
