She does her research and wants to be in a sorority because she wants to have fun while also work hard in college with other girls. Sure some sororities are terrible but not all of them are and neither are the ones wanting to be in one. Let’s not generalize and judge other women or men.

My exchange student trip to Korea was cancelled as a result of the pandemic, and I was talking to my Korean friends about the conditions over there. They said it feels like no one is really infected, but despite that everyone is taking it just as seriously as the beginning. Concerts, entertainment and fan-signs have been moved fully online. The government provided care packages to the people which included food, masks, sanitation etc. to prevent people buying out stores. Idols (which have huge influence) have been promoting the message, donating and ACTUALLY CARING. If you google "south korea covid" the top articles are about how South Korea is a model of how to stop Covid and other countries should learn from them. The second they got cases, they did EVERYTHING THEY COULD AND TOOK IT SERIOUSLY. They even reopened the country multiple times after they had numerous weeks of no new cases. Maybe it's a cultural difference (I didn't know public health was a foreign concept to some Americans)?? And yeah it sucks that my trip was cancelled, but I'll have more chances to go and most things are just postponing. The faster it ends the faster we can get back to living the lives we were before, but it doesn't just vanish. We actually need to put effort! It's so shocking to see our country is too busy being selfish, skeptical and ignorant about something so serious... I really wish I still lived in Europe lmao We have the ability to get through this. We are such a great and blessed nation, but if we continue down this path, I don't see this ending until summer 2021..

[ LilJJmama 3333 ] my school is starting on the 31st this month. i’m heading into 8th grade and i have NO idea what to expect. i have no pointers, no idea what the teachers are like, absolutely nothing. and i’m most likely going to be doing my first trimester fully online so... i’m going in blind and it scares me. i want to go back into actual school and MEET my teachers and SIT in class WITHOUT a mask. i’m sure COVID has calmed down in my state but it doesn’t matter. STAY INSIDE for kids trying to go back to school. because some kids have anxiety (like me) and need to meet the teacher in person and would prefer to be in school IN PERSON so nothing goes wrong.
It’s just so annoying people are losing their jobs, struggling to survive, or are sick and battling this virus, and we have these rich people so out of touch with reality and are basically rubbing in our faces that they don’t care because real life problems don’t effect them

I always found that funny I went to tons of protests, people would tell you to pull up your mask if it slipped and every single person had disinfectant with them. Some people were even wearing gas masks because of the tear gass.

This is endlessly frustrating as someone who is supposed to be living in Italy at the moment (my family moved there late 2019, we moved everything we owned there, and I wasnt able to get a work Visa yet so I went on a travel visa) but can't because of the virus. I literally came back to the US in February with two suitcases containing everything I own and no housing. I want to see my family. The European Union has banned US citizens from entering or exiting the country except for work and school visas. They have only let up restrictions on countries in the union or neighboring countries for example, Croatia. Until we get the damn numbers under control, we SHOULD be banned from entering other countries unless it is for school or work visas. Italy literally made you have paperwork to get groceries and you couldn't leave farther from your house than 200 meters. Stay at home! Everybody, wear a damn mask, stay home, stay 6 feet a part, and stop traveling unless absolutely necessary! I haven't seen anyone in person who was not either stepgrandparents or a professional at work since MARCH. You can fucking do it.

I’m so sorry other people’s selfishness is causing you to be separated from your family. I know this video is about influencers but it’s far from just them who are ignoring public health warnings. The shear amount of self-centeredness I’ve seen in this country in the form of ordinary people refusing to wear masks or social distance is really disheartening. So many ordinary everyday people who won’t wear a mask bc “it’s restrictive” “it’s not necessary” “Democrats are exaggerating the number.” I know people say “I’ve lost faith in humanity” a lot but this pandemic to be has truly shown me that people in the US at least have no sense of community, no sense of empathy, no sense of responsibility. My exchange student trip to Korea was cancelled as a result of the pandemic, and I was talking to my Korean friends about the conditions over there. They said it feels like no one is really infected, but despite that everyone is taking it just as seriously as the beginning. Concerts, entertainment and fan-signs have been moved fully online. The government provided care packages to the people which included food, masks, sanitation etc. to prevent people buying out stores. Idols (which have huge influence) have been promoting the message, donating and ACTUALLY CARING. If you google "south korea covid" the top articles are about how South Korea is a model of how to stop Covid and other countries should learn from them. The second they got cases, they did EVERYTHING THEY COULD AND TOOK IT SERIOUSLY. They even reopened the country multiple times after they had numerous weeks of no new cases. Maybe it's a cultural difference (I didn't know public health was a foreign concept to some Americans)??
And yeah it sucks that my trip was cancelled, but I'll have more chances to go and most things are just postponing. The faster it ends the faster we can get back to living the lives we were before, but it doesn't just vanish. We actually need to put effort! It's so shocking to see our country is too busy being selfish, skeptical and ignorant about something so serious... I really wish I still lived in Europe lmao

I always found that funny I went to tons of protests, people would tell you to pull up your mask if it slipped and every single person had disinfectant with them. Some people were even wearing gas masks because of the tear gass.

We’ve been inside since March-around the time we got out of school for spring break (I’m a high school graduate, for context. This is endlessly frustrating as someone who is supposed to be living in Italy at the moment (my family moved there late 2019, we moved everything we owned there, and I wasnt able to get a work Visa yet so I went on a travel visa) but can't because of the virus. I literally came back to the US in February with two suitcases containing everything I own and no housing. I want to see my family.
The European Union has banned US citizens from entering or exiting the country except for work and school visas. They have only let up restrictions on countries in the union or neighboring countries for example, Croatia.
Until we get the damn numbers under control, we SHOULD be banned from entering other countries unless it is for school or work visas.
Italy literally made you have paperwork to get groceries and you couldn't leave farther from your house than 200 meters. Stay at home!
Everybody, wear a damn mask, stay home, stay 6 feet a part, and stop traveling unless absolutely necessary! I haven't seen anyone in person who was not either stepgrandparents or a professional at work since MARCH. You can fucking do it.

I’m so sorry other people’s selfishness is causing you to be separated from your family. I know this video is about influencers but it’s far from just them who are ignoring public health warnings. The shear amount of self-centeredness I’ve seen in this country in the form of ordinary people refusing to wear masks or social distance is really disheartening. So many ordinary everyday people who won’t wear a mask bc “it’s restrictive” “it’s not necessary” “Democrats are exaggerating the number.” I know people say “I’ve lost faith in humanity” a lot but this pandemic to be has truly shown me that people in the US at least have no sense of community, no sense of empathy, no sense of responsibility. Just a screw you, I got mine attitude.
@@user-vr3jh5mh7x Thanks! It's been a lot to deal with, but all things come to an end and this isn't the worst I've ever felt so I have some perspective. It has been very triggering due to past experiences with severe isolation but I've been getting better. Just got keep going.

Public health is a community issue as you said, but so many people have been separated from the idea of community that they can't put the needs of others ahead of their own. Like if it ain't personal, it doesn't matter to them.
I can blame capitalism and conservatism for the mentality so many people have now, but even my mother who voted for the shitstain of a president we have now is failing to convince her US friends to wear masks despite being in an epicenter. She constantly trying to get people to wear masks and they just won't listen. They will not listen to even their own people because they are so delusional. How in hell do we expect 13 y/os to see through the trash behavior of influencers and wear a damn mask, if this is what behavior that is being modeled?
I have seen nobody but my family and strangers while grocery shopping since March. I have not gone out except to grocery shop since March. There’s no reason why they can’t in their huge mansions

they don't understand that sometimes in life there needs to be sacrifices made in life for the greater good and the health of others. people are having their WEDDINGS on zoom so no can get sick and some of my friends and i had our b'nei mitzvahs (jewish coming of age ceremony) on zoom just so no one could get sick and having a big moment in your life not be shared with friends and family in person is one of the biggest sacrifices someone could make for the health and wellbeing of others. try it sometime ❤️

I had covid in March I spent 3 months in my house im better now but I still don't have my sense of taste and smell back completely i dont think that'll ever change its really unfortunate
