Honestly any song from this concert is amazing , But ones to deffo check out are. . Shine on .High hopes .Sorrow Also you gotta check out ( On The Turning Away ) Live from the delicate sound of thunder, It's such an emotional performance ! Much love from the UK ! ❤✌
Correct. I was fortunate to be there to see the first live performance of Dark Side of the Moon when the plane down from the back and crashed at the back of the stage.Mind blowing !! The encore was One of these days 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yes I was there, I am 76 now and I still have to talk about it being the best concert I have ever seen, truly amazing. And when they finished with Run like hell everyone was stunned nobody spoke until we got back to the tube station, just with huge smiles on our faces.
That sold out crowd you're talking about is Earl's Court in London and seats between 19 and 20,000 people. On top of that they sold out 15 nights in a row at that same venue for over a quarter of a million people!! I've seen them four times in three different decades of seeing about 100 concerts from ACDC to led Zeppelin and everyone in between alphabetically. I've never seen a better concert than any of those four concerts. Some of the music with Zeppelin ACDC and a couple other groups were phenomenal but an overall show the Floyd puts on forget competing with that!!!! Pink Floyd is my absolute favorite group and that's the end of it but if you want to see a beautiful unbelievable great sounding song that will tug at your heart do the live Moody blues version of "Nights in White Satin" with an orchestra. I don't know exactly when it was done but it was in the 2000's I think and it's brilliant!!
I was there the night they filmed, it was so unbelievable I ended up going four times! Extravagant, I know, but I'm 60 now, I was 30 then, and have been a fan since I was 9, so it was definitely DEFINITELY worth it. One of the highlights of my life and watching reactors brings it all back. I could watch it anytime on my own if i wanted, but that's boring, watching someone else see it for the first time re-awakens the feelings i experienced being there and is much more enjoyable, especially those who dont keep pausing, thereby ruining the flow of the music. I wish you had reacted to the two songs 'Us and Them' and the next one 'Any Colour you Like' because not only do they link up as you noticed at the end but 'Any Colour' is only a very short song leaving still plenty of time for the reaction. Thank you for the enjoyable show Liked and subscribed P.s 'Sorrow' will blow your mind and 'The Great Gig' and 'Run Like Hell' and 'Comfortably Numb" They're all brilliant every track so the choice is really yours, I think everyone would be happy to tag along either way, I know i will. 😉🇬🇧
David's voice gives the songs a gravitas above and beyond the lyrics alone, brilliant that they are. Classic iconic voice. And yes, I was there... Not in England but the Chicago stop in 1994. I'm afraid words would not do it justice.. you just kinda had to be there. Three and a half hours of sensory bliss and spectacle.
Yep. I agree. I saw it in France. I spent as much time looking around the stadium and up in the air, there was so much going on as well as the music which was causing my body to vibrate
Absolutely my favorite Floyd song. The texture and dynamics fit the lyrics so succinctly. In the seventies this was what we called acid rock because ya took a dose when listening to them. Gilmore's voice is so smooth and strong. Much love.
Great reaction - and thanks for not making too many interruptions 👍👍👍 Amazing band - saw them live at Wembley Stadium performing The Wall way back in time - amazing
Any live song from this Pulse concert is worth a listen to...."Take It Back", "Comfortably Numb", "Sorrow" are just a few. This was the best concert I've ever attended back in 1994!
Lovely reaction ❤ This was my first concert ever, I was 17 back then. Great band. You definitely should check out Neverland (live '09) by Marillion 🙏🙏 It's very similar to Pink Floyd, also a awesome 🎸 player and 🎤 vocalist and better live!! It's a love song, you'll love it ❣️ ... At times like these Any fool can see Any fool can see Your love inside of me ...
Great song , the entire Dark Side of the Moon album would be a great listen when you have the time, it is a top 3 album ever for me. Enjoy beautiful lady! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎷🎶
After a world tour of this concert, I believe it sold out Earl's Court for 18 nights in a row but one that had equipment failure and had to be postponed if I remember correctly.
DSOTM # 2 all time sells with 947 wks. on the chart worldwide.. Dick Parry ( sax) was the original studio session musician on DSOTM. Dave call him up ( he was a retired horseshoer) ask him if he wanted to travel the world, he said DAH. Any song on Pulse "comfortably numb, sorrow, learning to fly, great gig in the sky: all ********. Give Dave solo work some love."Live at Pompeii" " In any Tongue" ( his last tour) "Live at Gdansk" Echoes" last time he said will never perform it again do to Ricks death ( Keys) ***********
Please consider that very often one track slides straight into the next so when listened to on their own tends to leave you hanging in mid air but that’s because each track puts you in the right place for the next part
Listen to faces of stone by David gilmore after the pink floyd era played at pompeii pure class a song dedicated to his mother who was in poor health at that time very emotional and beautiful his love for her comes through so strong in this song
If you haven't already, you could take a look at these two Pink Floyd songs: Pink Floyd - Keep Talking (PULSE Restored & Re-Edited) Pink Floyd - On the Turning Away Remastered 2019 - UA-cam
I could not hear a single word that you spoke during the song. Obviously, one should never pause during a David Gilmour guitar solo, but you could have paused nearly anywhere during this track to comment. Personally, I would prefer to hear what you are hearing and feeling during the song, otherwise I might as well just listen to and watch my P.U.L.S.E. DVD.
Come mai questo video ha una visione opposta ⬅️➡️ rispetto alla registrazione originale ? David non è mancino e le coriste stanno sulla sinistra del palco rispetto al pubblico davanti a loro . Mah...

Never forget the genius of Rick Wright not only his amazing keyboard but also harmony singing. Think I’m right in saying he composed this one too
yeah he wrote it with Roger

Everyone song from the pulse is breathtaking
David is so damn good that he can play left handed as well as right. Love Pink Floyd. Masterclass RockStars. Timeless , forever music.
😄
I've seen this video a few times and never noticed he was playing lefthanded. Wow, you are right his talent is unmatched . Thank you for posting that.
I agree - nothing beats the live performance!
From the PULSE live collection, please check out SORROW and also RUN LIKE HELL.

next one from Pulse concert 1994 - Coming back to life = 3 good guitar solo . 😎👍
The Pulse, COMFORTABLY NUMB is a must
She did that one 2 years ago.
Hey Sky. I don't know a lot of Pink Floyd, but this was so smoooooth. Thanks, and Rock On! 🤘😎👍
You must delve. Dive deep , it only gets sweeter as all their music is mastery.
Great reaction and song. David’s voice sounds amazing even as an older man .

Wright was a gray Eminence of Pink Floyd (like Harison in Beatles) 😃 !!!
Absolutely my favorite Floyd song. The texture and dynamics fit the lyrics so succinctly. In the seventies this was what we called acid rock because ya took a dose when listening to them. Gilmore's voice is so smooth and strong. Much love.
I saw them twice in Raleigh first time around 87 and then on this tour in 94.Both shows were epic!
Left .... and right..... I didn't kown David was left-hander!!😉!
I was wondering the same thing. The whole video has been mirrored. But it definitely did not affect the performance.
@@clay-tw5gc Right...
The video seemed to switch to mirror image when the reactor was speaking.
@@clay-tw5gc this was her camera settings
@@jeffreywolff329 I think you are correct. It's not a big deal it just looked odd to me. I still enjoyed the reaction.
Good view and choice baby too ☺️😉🤙
I was there. Tripping off my face because i was a younger lad, but it was epic
From the same concert, Comfortably Numb - considered one of the best guitar solos. ua-cam.com/video/1VjgyLpWkRI/v-deo.html
Great reaction - and thanks for not making too many interruptions 👍👍👍 Amazing band - saw them live at Wembley Stadium performing The Wall way back in time - amazing
I had the great pleasure of attending the concert in 94 in Miami Dolphin stadium 75000 people in the pouring rain

Great reaction Sky. I look forward to more PF reactions from you. The Pulse concert is their best ever imo.
Just like Remember a Day (Rick Wright - R.I.P. ) !!!

You're obviously a Floydian! Good to hear from you!
Wonderful reaction SKY

I saw Roger Waters in concert. They played Pink Floyd hits for 2 hours. I also saw Nine Inch Nails at MSG. Phenomenal! Best concert nights of my life.

Welcome back! Long time no see.
Please listen to The Great Gig in The Sky from the same show.
Another masterpiece, written by Roger alone (and he did a much better version as this one..)
