ok i created a vertex map 03 upload it to the Cloth tag and it disappears for me there is no such effect as in the video, I already tried everything I found another way how to achieve a similar wave effect, but yours is better
@@3DBONFIRE that would be amazing, i started using x-particles 2 years ago around the time you uploaded your donut video and it really helped kickstart my 3D design career. There's not too many people out there who make X-Particles with Octane videos, so i look forward to seeing what you do in the future

So I just became a patreon of you to check the more detailed version of this tutorial but unfortunately the Enthusiast level doesn't cover it. I figured out the jiggle and cloth stuff and I wanted to loop it but I can't get it to work. The second vertex map and field aren't doing anything. Any chance you can point me in a direction? Would really appreciate it!
Okay never mind, I was stupid. Renaming the tags is really important! :D So I got it now, with cloth and jiggle and everything nice but I can't get it to go back to it's initial state. It's always a tiny little bit off. Maybe you have an Idea? Thanks again and please keep the tutorials coming!
Hi! Thanks for the tutorial. One question, how do I get the effect we have created here to react with the cloth sim? Should the vertex map just effect it automatically?
@@3DBONFIRE okay sorry, so after we play with the vertex maps + fields, your video skips to After effects and final render. I have applied my cloth sim tag but failed to get the wave effect to react. Is there something else I should be doing?
@@LittleWittleKitty hello I have a similar issue, the cloth tag in R26 doesn't have the option for mix animation/fields. Have you found a way to get past it?
