In this video, we're hooking up a 20 Minute Shadow Boxing HIIT Workout.
All you need for this 20 Minute Shadow Boxing HIIT Workout is a pair of gloves, I'm using waited for MMA gloves, but if you don't have gloves, it's OK; Even, you can just use your hands for Shadow Boxing.
Each round is 1 Minute aggressive followed by 30 seconds moderate pace. The same as previous HIIT videos you'll see on the Nate Bower Fitness UA-cam channel. Remember, it's 1 Minute hard 30 seconds recovery all the way through the 20 Minute HIIT Shadow Boxing Workout.
This 20 Minute Shadow Boxing HIIT Workout includes:
Multiple high-intensity rounds.

1 Minute hard 30 seconds moderate intensity.

👉 Is Shadow boxing a good HIIT workout?
- Shadow Boxing is the most effective sport because it involves a lot of high intensity interval training (HIIT) that engages multiple muscle groups, works out the whole body, and can be done in a much shorter time period.
👉 Do boxers do HIIT training?
- High intensity interval training (also known as HIIT) is perfect for boxers, MMA fighters, and other fight sports athletes. Interval training can help fighters increase power and improve endurance.
👉 How do HIIT workouts work?
HIIT workouts generally combine short bursts of intense exercise with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise. These workouts often mix aerobic and resistance training at fitness studios and online. To be clear, most of the interval workouts researchers have studied focus solely on aerobic exercise.
👉 Does HIIT improve stamina?

I can’t imagine doing this while being punched for 12 rounds... much appreciation for the sport
Imagine the boxing before if theirs no one knockout the fight still going .
Muhammad Ali was still Dancing and Throwing punches in round 15 all while being a heavywheight.
For me at least, it is easier when getting punched .... no voice in my head telling me to stop when I am just thinking about the fight amd not getting punched... working ou5 by myself is always harder because part of me always wants to quit. But 8 beat that pussies ass 95% of the time 😂😂😂

Wow man. Ive been looking all over for a decent shadow boxing routine to follow. Lockdown hit hard and i ended up gaining all the way back to 94kgs. Ive dropped back down to 87 but ive been stuck here for about a week. Today was the first day i tried this and i can say that this made me sweat more than anything else ive done. Ill be doing this every day and will update how my weight loss is going here every week or so. Cheers man!!

Thanks Nate, this is truly a great workout. I have been doing it a couple of times per week with weighted gloves alongside my normal boxing training and have noticed a marked increase in my hand speed and sharpness of my punches when training at the boxing gym, and landing a lot more shots sparring. Best shadow boxing ive done, i incorporated footwork and put max effort a few days ago, did the same thing today and I feel much more fluid in my punches, great video man!
how do you punch quick? i loose my form when punching fast. i usually do it with max power and that makes it slower but nicer tight form
@@dinodironman8167 you have to focuss on speed with correct form and stay relaxed until your arm is fully extended, when its fully extended you stabilize your whole body at the end of the rotation, thats how i do it and im a really stiff guy for a kickboxing practitioner

Great workout! Really enjoyed the guided shadow boxing. Did this in the middle of winter in my 20 degree garage, warmed up real quick. Burpees at the end really got the sweat flowing. Thanks for the great content!
Because my fitness wasn't on par the first time I ran through this, I took a break between round 3 and 4 for 1 minute extra, then during round 5 I knew there was no way I'd be able to complete burpees with good form, so I changed round 5-1 to front push kicks for distancing, 5-2 to elbow and knee roundhouse cover - then clinch knee and 5-3 to side-front-roundhouse kicks, it worked a charm and I was able to complete. Wicked workout, hope I'll dig into the conditioning portion next time.

Great Video and Excellent workout, I have been shadow boxing and doing "air Karate kicking" off and on since I was a kid, I just turned 60 last year and had aching shoulders from years of installing chain link fences, by lifting the material over shoulder level. So I started back in on the shadow boxing several months ago and shoulder aches were gone after the first couple weeks of 20 minute a day shadow boxing, It has also helped breathing and cleared up the respiratory system, - haven't had a cold in years , I also combine the exercise with mountain bike riding several hours a week up steep terrain, I told my brothers to do shadow boxing too.
Airborne paratrooper knocked this out while in quarantine in Australia. Great work my man! Keep inspiring!🙏🏾💪🏾😎
