Thanks for the sound clip & link for removal, didn't realize it was a simple 3 bolt removal. Will be doing it on my recently purchased 2024 Transalp. Will keep part for reinstall if I ride forest trails.

Took mine out to test the sound and it did sound a lot better. Put back on but I like having the option for better sound on the street. Leaving it off in the woods is worse than shaking babies according to some Karens. Lol

My transalp doesnt have the bolts to take the dbkiller. It has two exaust exits.

So my bike is the USA spec, the euro specs have a dual exit exhaust. The euro version does not include a factory spark arrestor to my knowledge. Your best bet would be a slip on exhaust if you want a bit more noise and a little power. I recommend getting an exhaust system that moves the muffler up closer to the seat if you do any off-roading.

I posted in the original video not to do this if you plan on going through dry areas where a spark might ignite a fire. No street bikes have a spark arrestor, neither do any of the aftermarket exhausts for this bike or most adventure bikes. Don’t come for me for showing how to remove something that requires removal for regular maintenance. If you care so much become a firefighter or a forest ranger or something and leave the keyboard warrior lifestyle behind.
