How to Make a 10 Gallon *Baby* Ball Python Setup
Вставка

- We all start with aquariums which isn’t always the best, and personally not a fan for pythons, so here is a beginner guide to setting up a baby ball python in an aquarium, economically and to hopefully fit it’s husbandry needs
Note I do not advocate a 10 gallon aquarium for a baby ball python but this is a good technique to use for larger enclosures and if that is what you have to start

This video is very helpful, the only thing I’m worried about is when I get my new baby ball python I don’t wanna stress it out.
Another dope video! Keep up the great work!
Josue's Exotics thank you so much!
13:30 “Paul Bython” 🎉😂
good job on this video bud
Thanks!
Nice Video this definitely helped a lot!!! and I was wondering if the LED light strips around my room can affect the ball python cause i heard certain light could be bad for their eyes
There have been studies that suggest that the red lights can be a detriment. Natural light is good for them, not as good as uvb but I have found that a 12 hour light cycle helps with many kinds of snakes. I hope that answered your question😁
@@JzsReptiles ok thank you👍🏾
Nice Video
Thanks. It’s not my preferred or even my suggestion of what to start with but it’s what I know a lot of people will start out with
Can you send a link to where you got the humidity tester

Can I keep my baby ball in one for year? The guy at the reptile store said it should be fine
Kimberly Brown honestly it depends on how quickly it grows. Personally I would try to get a larger enclosure as soon as possible. I’m not the biggest fan of aquariums for ball pythons but I understand that is what many people start with so I made this video to show it can be done with the needs of ball pythons in mind. I would get a larger enclosure that holds humidity a little better and add a few more hides for it to feel secure
Could you Leave a link to the foil you used ?
lol Whatever www.amazon.com/Nashua-322-Multipurpose-Length-Aluminum/dp/B000FCIP0U/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=foil+tape&qid=1600692249&sprefix=foil+&sr=8-4
How would it look in the plastic tub?
rebecca proctor pretty much the same depending on how clear a tub you get
Jz's Reptiles are you going to make a video with one?
Whats the best watt??
Chris not sure what you mean. Best wattage for a bulb?
Jz's Reptiles yes for the ceramic bulb. What the best watt?
It depends on your setup, where you live and the room it’s in. If your room stays fairly warm consistently and you find a good underbelly heat source you may not need one at all, but most of the time it will be in the high 60’s to low 70’s, so I would think a 60-75 watt would be good. Just keep an eye on temps and humidity. An infra red heat gun is a life saver and you can find them for under $30
I thought you needed a thermostat for the heater?
On quite a few, but some have internal regulators
Can he at least try and do a thermal griadient
That’s what the heat pad that only covers some of the area is for. That side will be warmer and the other side will be cooler and if needed or desired an above basking light/ ceramic heating element can be added
