I have been passionate about animals all my life and especially about reptiles. I’ve been keeping reptiles and snakes in particular for almost a decade and want to share my love and passion about animal education to help inform people about reptiles and to understand and respect them.

A Normal Ball Python with a Big Suprise
Good to see them kept in captivity to prevent extinction
Totally agree- I'm fostering my sister's boa (BCI). I had never had a snake before and I was worried. But now I see he's mostly just a big dope.Dopey would be a good name for him! I love him 🙂
20 seconds in and you definitely sound like you know your sh*t!😁 She's definitely beautiful!
Good to see you, bro! And great video, we need more people addressing the colloquial slander snakes endure every damn day. I make a point to correct people when they use "snake" as a way to describe distrustful and deceitful people. Not on my watch!
1:45 Moonshine Greenish Rat Snake
Very cool topic! Totally agree
Have to agree my one cousin loves the phrase "snake in the grass"
Immediately loving the shirt! Lol
@@codygervais995 I’m somewhat of a smart@55
I love the title of this video, it sounds like a crossword puzzle clue haha
Straight up was about to say dolphins when you Said it, lol
It's funny because many people sees snakes as evil, dangerous creatures. And many people sees dolphins as friendly, sweet and good natured.😏 Well dolphins can be really brutal actually, especially when it comes to mating.
Bro if it helps most people don’t care that I keep boas and rare pythons. I’ve gotten 4 girls to get boas. I understand wym tho because I keep to myself. I’ve had people who don’t mind they business go out of their way to invade my privacy and try and claim that my snakes aren’t legal in my city. My Boas and pythons are classified as harmless living animals and are completely legal in my city.
Are They genetically distinct from Bull snakes found in Texas and Illinois? Thank you. They look similar.
@@jeffsmith5639 entirely different species
sht is super annoying. i get it. and i tell people to call me and i'll come get any snake for free.
Good to see you're back. :)
Sorry to hear about your back
I love love love African house snake
Beautiful snakes! I have a Sonora Ground Snake and he’s bright orange! Looking at getting another to breed but would be nice to get one of those last ones you were showing and see how they turn out 💯💯
Love this vid! Where do you recommend buying snakes from? Having trouble finding a reliable source.
Great video keep on making them.
cool species
How much did this test cost you?
**Chaco Golden Knee tarantula
Are they poisonous
@@MikeCaudill-it9mf no
Did you literally fracture your back or just strain/hurt it?
@ just strain. Closest I get to being over dramatic
baby ball pythons are so adorable, i love their big puppy eyes ( •̀ ω •́ )y
Love the passion and the knowledge!
Jamaican crocodile
as a trans person i appreciate how you started the video with "whats up, guys, gals, and nonbinary pals" loll
Howdy everyone. Quick question. I have a male brown house snake who is roughly 2 1/2 years old. He normally eats like a savage but for the last 2 months has not wanted to eat at all. He is not interested at all even if I leave the mouse(defrost) in the enclosure. He still seems healthy , very active and alert still drinks water but refuses to eat. I read that it may be due to mating season but I'm very unsure. Any ideas or suggestions I would be very grateful. Thank you kindly
@@MichaelKruger-g9r could be breeding, could be the time of the year with cold temps, pressure changes
@JzsReptiles hi thanks for replying I'm on the south coast of kzn in south Africa. December January February are our hottest months although it's definitely a bit cooler compared to previous years. Humidity not a problem at anytime of the year 😂. If it is due to breeding season , is it a health problem for either male or female to not find a mate ?
@@MichaelKruger-g9r so some reptiles especially in Africa like Angolan and rock pythons will actually find cooler places and go into a version of brumation in the hottest months, so it still could be the time of year. As for breeding, males will be fine but females may self cycle and drop infertile eggs. They can get egg bound but I don’t know enough about the species as far as breeding to give a good idea of how likely
@@JzsReptiles awesome thank you so much for your insight
Thanks for the info!
Where can I get that shirt!?
You had puppies💙💙💜💜🖤🖤
We have easterns where I live in ohio
😎 Cool.
❤❤❤
I've never even heard of these before. What beautiful little creatures.
Canada does not have a lot of snakes but where I lived in medicine hat alberta these were one of the snakes around. Saw a huge dark almost black one laying across a path on a trail in the city once. Have wanted one for years
Did you say ball pythons?
@@bigdipper620 yes
Can you house them in 75 gallon tank and sence there like 2 ft longer than ball pythons but less girth will they eat same size rats or bigger than ball python ?
@@Mainethechosen1 I would definitely recommend larger than a 75 because they are much more active than ball pythons, who can climb vs black rats that will and want to constantly
Can you house them 75 gallon tank ?
Super intrigued! Love the natural brown coloration.
Love them a lot. Couldn't risk a bite to traumatize my kid tho so he got a corn.
UVA and UVB really makes a snake more active from my experience.
Just found your channel because of your spotlight on black milk snakes and I think you should have more fans! You’ve got some great content and I’m definitely subscribing
Rat snakes are awesome.....never harm one.
Darwin was a Freemason. His theories are not only unproven and untrue, but still rely on spontaneous generation. It was an attempt to explain away intelligent design so therefore the state is god.
Hey, i actually saw you in Beasties one day a few months ago. Ive been considering one of these for while. Now I'm gonna definitely make a drive to Pueblo (Beasties), unless you have another suggestion? Great video! Thanks
Greetings from Australia . My nephew was often called by our neighbours to remove well fed coastals from their aviaries. They really are beautiful creatures, and even wild examples are reasonably easy to handle. Where we live the temperature often gets down to freezing point over winter and up to the mid 40s (100+°F)in summer. We have kept them a few times over the years before re-releaseing them , and even mid sized wild examples quickly adapted to being handled.
I've noticed my Christmas mountain gopher is significantly more confident than my bull snake. I don't know if that's the norm or just her personality, but she's doing great. Extremely lovable snakes. Always doing something interesting.
Do you know what combo with an IMG creates a dark background with more gold than yours?
Probably an img that isn’t expressing as much or one with hypo and a lot of expression
