HOW TO BUILD A BALL PYTHON ENCLOSURE! (DIY!)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 10 січ 2024
- Episode 2 of the series is a DIY guide on how to build a ball (or royal) python enclosure! The actual box itself can be used to house many different species of reptiles, the size you need to do may just vary depending on what you plan on housing, but the idea remains the same!
This was really good fun, and if I could do this all the time it would make me very happy! I think I'd prefer to do so in the summer, but we do what we can!
Any questions or anything, please feel free to reach out over DM or comment on the video! Otherwise, let us know what you think!

Apologies for some of the audio, need to get a mic I think 😅😂
thanks for this! Gonna build one of my own now
An absolute pleasure, thank you for watching 💜
Another tip, When drilling the holes if you put the drill in reverse, the teeth from the hole saw won’t be so aggressive and cause the wood to splinter. You only need to do it to get the hole started on each side..
That’s a great shout! When I build the next one I’ll give that a go, for sure, thanks! 🙏
SO EXCITED FOR EPISODE 3
YEEAAH SONNNNN 💜
Thats a solid viv right there :)
Thanks bro! Really happy with it!
Nice tutorial, it's coming along nicely 🐍💚
Thanks Rick! Can’t wait for everyone to see the final product! 😁
Loving this series! 10/10
Thanks dude! It only gets better as well! 😁
Solid build bro! It's coming out great!
Thank you mate! Really starts coming into its own from the next one, but the final part is epic! If I do say so myself 😂
Love it bro. Editing was clean asffff too
Thank you my dude, working on it 😂 I’m still gutted about the audio but that means the next one won’t have that problem

It’s been updated, you’ll be on episode 3, I promise! 😂💜 appreciate you signing up mate
Episode two lets goooooooo
Yes Baum! You found it before I had even done any promo 😂
I usually see it on my recommendation thingy as soon as the premiere thingy goes live
Going to use this method 😊 thank you for this video🙌
No worries champ!
Excellent build mate!
Cheers Jamie! Appreciate the inspiration and help!
I was looking at building one for my common ball python out of 3/4” Red Oak. What were your measurements that you had them cut the pieces to? And was it a 4x8? Excellent build by the way!
Are you on Instagram or anything? If so, drop me a DM and I can send you the build dimensions! I’m hoping to do a better build video soon with all the dimensions and more of a step by step as well to be fair!
The final size is just under 4ft long, 2ft deep, and just under 2ft tall. Random size but it was to fit in a specific spot!
Thank you! 😁
@@riddlerreptiles yes sir! I’ll hit you up right now. It’ll be my business profile @doctorbuffdetailing
❤❤
Thank you so much for watching, really appreciate it 💜
What do you do for lighting and heating?
Lighting and heating is an overhead 35W halogen, Arcadia shade dweller UVB, and an LED bar for lighting! I set it all up on the final episode of this series, “how to set up a ball pythons enclosure” 😁
Great build you dirty redcoat!!
😂😂😂😂😂
Appreciate it, Yankee
What type of wood is it and what are the measurements?
It’s 18mm plywood 😁 if it helps, I did this exact build again but better and included the dimensions! It’s the latest build video with the purple thumbnail if that helps!
@@riddlerreptiles I’ll definitely go check out that video!! Thank you, I’m building this for my 3 ft ball python and you video has been the best for explaining how to build one so far. So any tips would be great😁😁
@@loudedcoffin7128 it’s my pleasure, and thank you for the kind words! If you’ve got any problems or questions, feel free to DM me on instagram or Facebook 🙂
Where did you get the runners?
EBay! I think I just typed in ‘reptile enclosure glass runners’ or something similar, and a few popped up. These ones came with some stick on handles as well!
@@riddlerreptiles awsome thank you!
@@ryan4286 no worries! 😁
What are you gonna do for heat for the snake?
I install the heating and lighting in the final video of the series, which is two after this one, called “how to set up a ball python enclosure” where I add halogen heating, lunenize UVB and an LED bar 😁
