What Are Twitch Panels?
If you go to any Twitch channel, and click the About section you will see a big bar that has a short bio on it, and a few social media links.
Below that are Twitch panels and the information section. Most streamers will fill their panels with commonly asked information, social media links, affiliate links, and panel extensions
How To Add Twitch Panels:
Let’s add Twitch panels to our stream, now you’ll go to your Twitch about section and click "edit panels" in the top left that will open up the panels editing section where you can upload images and write out what goes beneath them.
If you want panels there are a lot of options out there that are free, if you go to the Stream Scheme article linked above, you’ll have a list of links to where you can find panels for your stream.
The most common Twitch Panel to start with is an "About Me" Panel, you'll include a small paragraph about you as a streamer, and then expand it a little to add direction to more information such as where your Twitch schedule is, and what your goals as a streamer are.

How To Write A Twitch Bio
Let’s talk about writing your Twitch bio, what should you add into your about section? You only have 300 characters so you should make it snappy, and I think you want people to get a quick grasp of the type of creator you are.
I start by introducing myself, and my experience, then I use literally the entire rest of my bio to tell a short and embarrassing story from when I was a kid, about how I stole my Brothers game boy colour, and wasted his Master ball on a dratini.
It is relatable, shows I am a gamer, and most importantly it is funny.
The style of this video is similar to Alpha Gaming and Gaming Careers in parts. A large influence on this series has come from content creators like Wild4games and Nutty.

I'm not a billy! So, real talk: I was like "oh, a video on panels. I think mine are decent so I'll just watch because I like the videos". Yeah... after about 3 minutes I quickly realized I have some work to do. Great job, sir. Also, people copying your about and your story sure is an interesting thing that sure seems to happen way too much on Twitch... or in general.

I’ve been watching a bunch of your videos lately and learning tons about making my channel better! Thank you for taking the time to make all these! I have to admit though, I don’t love the idea of leaving grammar mistakes intentionally to try to bait people for interaction, and here’s my main reason: when I was looking for your Twitch channel to check out your setup, I noticed the mistakes and thought the channel I’d found was a fake because they were very obvious and you seem too thorough and professional to miss something like that. So I left the channel and kept looking for you lol. Plus I think the reason for that first interaction is a lot more important than just the interaction happening. If someone’s first interaction is prompted by them wanting to help you fix a mistake that you’ll never fix, are they still more likely to come back? I’m a little skeptical.
But I think all your other tips and advice have been spot on! Thanks again for all your help.

Thank you so much over a month I've grown 3-4 average viewers and I really have to thank you I haven't been doing everything but I'm working on doing more. I get 3-4 viewers in a month may not seem like a lot, but about a month ago I was streaming to maybe 1-2 and now it can get up to 8-9 people, not to mention that I've doubled my follower base. I’ve been thinking about trying streaming and these videos have been interesting for giving me a view of what is involved. I’m not sure if anyone has success in the genre I’m thinking about, but this gives me a sense of what I need to think about no matter what I decide to stream.
Not gonna lie I'm currently a Billy... reason why, I became affiliate suddenly and wasn't expecting it. So this happened a few weeks ago. I am constantly working on small project spanning my entire twitch channel including panels.
But I didn't have a donate button and a guy was trying to donate!
So I hooked up donations right after that as it has been my first request in stead of other panels. But this vid right here is the perfect template to complete the look thanks man!

Slowly building up and always open to suggestions, even if it is a small tip, what I have learnt from you so far has helped me a great deal.

I was a Billy (no donation panel) or any panel for that matter. Had no idea of how you set this up. Found some more info on downloading the panel images and setting everything up.

Wow, can't believe people actually use your bio as your own. When you first said "I clicked on some members of the community", I started to sweat worrying about getting roasted...but at least I've never straight up lifted someone else's bio haha. Thanks for the video as always! I have a few panels and extensions, but I know I need to polish them up (just yesterday I had someone asking for the chat rules again, so the timing is great for this reminder).
Really comprehensive video, even if I see a topic and think "nah, I know how to set up panels", I know to click your videos, because you'll always have new tips and takes I haven't thought of! The grammar thing is deviously clever too. You almost tempted me with that, before I reached that section of the video. But I held back, because I'm not a Billy!

I was never a Billy but, I was definitely silly and very late to the party in understanding and getting my panels sorted. However, with the guidance of this video, I sorted myself out and I've even made things compatible with the dark theme; just not in the most creative of fashions. Now to go back and see if there's any nuggets I've failed to pick up.

As far as extension go I've just been using the "Recent follower" one. For schedules I've just been using the one Twitch has built into the site.
