I absolute agree with whatever you said! Misinformation and judgment leads to mixed feeding and then loses their milk supply. Now I know that as a new mum, you just need to breastfeed baby every 1-2 hours and just express through hand expression and pump after feeds! That leads to a healthy supply that is enough for our babies! Come on now, if the baby is gaining weight and you are massaging your breast while feeding and your baby is swallowing (drop in jaw) - it’s ok honestly! So sad that people do this to women.

Any tips for moms who deliver preterm and babies are in NICU? Baby is too tiny to latch or even give a feeding clue. I’m pumping 7 times yet all 7 pumping sssions together don’t even give my son 2 feeds. All I get it 5- 10 ML in each pumping. I do manual expressing each time later but get only another 5- 7 ML. So a total of 10- 15ML no more. He’s 2 weeks today and I feel very sad that I cannot give him even his 1 feed properly! He will not be able to latch for many more weeks. Eating green leafy vegetables like mint, spinach, amaranth leaves, roselle leaves, dill etc and millets like pearl millet, barnyard millet, kodo millet and little millet will help with milk supply. Also drink a lot of water.

What if the baby doesn't drink your own milk which has been pumped? What if you don't pump enough milk? What if your pumping of milk cause you to not have milk at all for breastfeeding the whole day? Try lactaways granules elaichi flavour jar to increase breast milk. This seriously helped me after c-section delivery. Hope this helps others too.

Any tips for moms who deliver preterm and babies are in NICU? Baby is too tiny to latch or even give a feeding clue. I’m pumping 7 times yet all 7 pumping sssions together don’t even give my son 2 feeds. All I get it 5- 10 ML in each pumping. I do manual expressing each time later but get only another 5- 7 ML. So a total of 10- 15ML no more. He’s 2 weeks today and I feel very sad that I cannot give him even his 1 feed properly! He will not be able to latch for many more weeks. I’m doing shatavari, fenugreek etc through diet. Please please help!

Keep feeding the baby... Milk will come... U should not stress. Relax.
Eating green leafy vegetables like mint, spinach, amaranth leaves, roselle leaves, dill etc and millets like pearl millet, barnyard millet, kodo millet and little millet will help with milk supply. Also drink a lot of water.

I find it wild to pump first and then feed the baby. The whole point of all this is feeding the baby, not feeding the pump. Just my two cents
