    It's nice to see a channel talking about euroleague basketball.
    Just informing you that in Europe, superstars coming off the bench is a very common thing. It doesn't matter who starts the game but who finishes it so you see guys like Larkin, Sloukas etc and old legends like Spanoulis, Diamantidis, Navarro came off the bench.

    • @texasscifi3431
      @texasscifi3431 Рік тому +1

      Very very good point. I always thought who is in the court at the end of the game is far more important than starters. I mean starters get minutes... But closers get wins.

    • @kushberry6679
      @kushberry6679 Рік тому +1

      @@texasscifi3431 yeah, also sometimes the guys that come off the bench and lead the team play more minutes than the starters.
      I think the NBA should as well but the players there are Divas that won't accept anything like that, with some exceptions

      Beiing a star on euroleague:
      1. You have to work as hard on defence as on the offence.
      2. It is harder to score in EL than in NBA.
      3. Coach is the goat of a team. You shutafuckup and execute.
      4. Game is 40min, but timeout is 1 minute long, not 3-4 min like on NBA.
      5. You are involved in a team offence on defence every second you spend on court.
      15-20 min is the Max what veteran can be productive on court. As soon as you are out of gas, coach will sit you down at the bench. Lets see how NBA stars adopt to that. Anyways, welcome to Europe. We are ready to give you some tongues.

    willie cauley stein made a great decision in my eyes. Yes maybe Varese last season finished 12th in italian league, but in actually they were 3rd but sadly got penalized for some money problem and thus finished in the lower rankings, so i think that this year they will be a great team both in italy and europe, because they are playing in champions league which is like conference league.

      Saudis dont care about basketball. Dubai is trying to make its way into Euroleague and in talks with Euroleague for an expansion and maybe Doha will follow up but Saudis really dont care. in soccer they are trying to hold a sport industry in S.Arabia but they wont split their funds for basketball as interest for the game in the country is literally zero.

    Man, I am from Varese and I am too young to rememeber about the great days of the Ignis with Dino Meneghin but old enough to remember the title won in 99 with Andrea Meneghin, Poz, De Pol. Now the team has been under the guidance of Luis Scola for a couple of years, we will see if Willy will bring a change. What the team needs is actually a new Arena where to play, the pala Ignis is very old. In any case, a lot of NBA players are moving here because currently the NBA is unwatchable not to mention that the averege american fan has 0 clue about how real basketball works. All you care about is stats "he scored only 5.7 points in 20 minutes...he is trash" maybe said player is a AC Green type of player that doesn't need the ball to actively help the team by placing screens in a clever way, guarding the dangerous player on the other team keeping him away from the ball, creating space correctly...

    Its a mistake to go to europe at the end, its much better to go at the last year of school career, even skipping university basketball. Because it can form a better young player, that can learn a lot more than an old washed up nba player, to better prepare for draft. Kobe is the prime example for that.

    kemba isn't going to the hall of fame that's for sure lol. He had a great college run but it's forgetabble. His time in the nba is mehh. And any international accolades do him no good unless he has the amount of medals carmelo has

    If you are a U.S. citizen or a resident alien living outside the United States, your worldwide income is subject to U.S. income tax, regardless of where you live.
    So Kemba will be paying taxes.

    Why even bring up the hall of fame, that shouldn't even be a discussion. Name one guy that has "snuck" into the basketball hall of fame. You don't reach the pinnacle of your career outside of the nba and then get into the hof, that's silly.

    What has Kemba Walker done in the NBA, cause if I remember correctly he only stuffed his stats, he hasn't won anything in the NBA, yet he wants to act like a superstar and not come off the bench, he is playing himself😂😂😂

    And this is way who wins the euroleague can be called the world champion. Euroleague is an international league where people from more than 40 countries compete. Even players from the USA come in Europe to play because they prefer to play here. For this reason the team that wins the euroleague has the right to be called world champion.
    You see how stupid of an argument this is? It's indeed really stupid, but this is what many people actually say (believing of being smart) on tv sports programs in the US. Can you believe this is even happening?

    • @1700tj
