I love that he says "I don't know" so much. It's like he was born doing a fS flip right outta the womb and never thought about how he actually does it.
Man, those were clean. What's interesting about his front side flip is he doesn't cock his front shoulder like most guys to get his upper body to swing. His lower body does most of the work. He actually sets up his feet and upper body like most guys do hard flips.
Man… this was the best time In skating. I’d do anything to go back to these times and pause it. Collect all the Reynolds two colorways and just stay there forever
This is the guy you wanna learn frontside flips from. Long before this video was posted I was watching Andrew’s parts in skate videos to try to learn to frontside flip like the master. And now I find this, far too late :(
the only frontside flip tutorial anyone should watch. this is like learning how to punch from mike tyson. or learning the chess endgame from magnus carlsen. reynolds and frontside flips go hand in hand
Anyone else notice at 1:15 that the Boss checked where the edge of the board was before adjusting his foot more inside for the pop? Maybe a little trick that helps with foot placement for full rotation. Will try it today!
Nah, it's quite common, if you film yourself, you may too do it for tricks but you last second may slightly or DRASTICALLY even mover your foot lol. I set up for tre flips behind the bolts at times, but then end up in the MIDDLE of the board. It's like your foot just does what it does without you trying.
@@yaboi.hitmaizer na I mean in general grip nowadays looks like some shit on the floor of the outdoor classrooms at a middle school lol back in like 2002 it was sparkling in the sun and street lighting like glitter lol but everything changes look at chips a bag of chips is shit now taste horrible has like half the bag is air and shiy and it’s like 50 cents more than before
Those fs flips, the Reynolds 2’s, that clean leather jacket and those slim jeans everyone wanted to be like Reynolds around this time.
Alfie Villanueva straight up bro I remember watching this over and over
Yes
And now he dresses like a bum
Those jeans are uhhhh you know what I’m not even gonna be negative towards nut clutchers.
I remember...
I love that he says "I don't know" so much. It's like he was born doing a fS flip right outta the womb and never thought about how he actually does it.
I actually think most pros are like that, you're doing a trick for so long that you don't actually think about it anymore, you just do it.
But he explained to us what he did wrong in the beginning. So he clearly remembers what can go wrong and what the mistakes are.
but his tip to have the front shoulder already open is truly the key to this trick. great trick tip.
Legend has it, Andrew did FS Flip out the womb
This is still golden knowledge. Andrew Reynolds forever
He has some of the Best fs kickflips
This was probably the best tutorial I’ve seen n it was less than 2 mins

And he catches it with both feet
Best FS Flips ever. The style is just so on point.
I’m 38 and today I’m gonna learn fs flips. Never stop.
This vid taught me how to fs flip like 12 years ago, haha.
Still skate?)

Never too late bro.
It’s never to late to have a mean fs flip
Best fs flips. Really makes me wanna learn them. A trick I never really put much effort in to learning.
Damn , show me the way was so inspiring when i was young. Still so good.
Thank you, skateboarding. I luv u
Wow man the first video that taught me how to frontside flip and I was so stoked once I landed my first one and many more after that
I remember watching this tip in high school. Class of 2007 in the house
The one at 0:16 was seriously prolly the best frontside flip ever done on flat.
He reserved ALL rights to this trick
@@sk82rok ur not wrong, but this one's dope as hell too: instagram.com/p/CI4hcMvJVCI/
This is honestly the best way to frontside flip. This trick tip helped a lot actually
lol.. I feel old being that I come to these videos when im feeling a certain vibe. those reynolds 2s are tight! and the size 7.5 board :P
StereoSoundAgent 8.5
Michael Oladepo Thats looks way to small to be a 8.5
@@uglyaldo3268 reynolds is super tall
@@michaeloladepo def a 7,75 or an 8 maybe since hes tall
you know what those trucks look huge, thats gotta be an 8 or maybe 8,1
One of the dopest boards ever made. I believe I had it as a kid
It got re-released as a Tech Deck
THE BOSS
this dude kickflips with his feet like I put on for a ollie or smh xP
a lot of the og's do. I feel like you land above the kickflip more if you do the flick like that but it takes a little more effort I feel
you get a higher catch but you have to flick harder but it works better trust me like damn near ollie but ninja kick
I think it also maybe helped him to balance his weight with that back foot so far back
I remember watching this video sooooo much as a kid I love Andrew Reynolds
I swear if there was ever a skater to learn the frontside flip from, its Andrew Reynolds!! Arto Saari would be my vote for the best backside flip
wow he is actually giving good advice.
usually pros are like "put your feet on the board and fs flip. easy" 😛
I find I gotta put my foot farther back than kickflips but who's arguing with the boss
Exactly.
cuz his legs are so long he doesnt gotta wind up as much for his tricks like most of us under 6 foot
the only frontside flip tutorial anyone should watch. this is like learning how to punch from mike tyson. or learning the chess endgame from magnus carlsen. reynolds and frontside flips go hand in hand
I remember the first time I watched this trick tip…can’t believe it was 11 years ago.
yeah crazy af

When the boss takes time to teach us mortals a f/s flip just try to soak it all in and pray one day to get them on lock
❤ first how to vid I really watched
When I think about Andrew Reynolds this is still the exact outfit I picture
I remember watching this ten years ago
you remember te name of te video ???
Still haven't gotten them down, huh?

Yo the boss is legendary but skating in leather is wild lmao
I put my back foot on the other side of the board, so it always did a shov and I could never flick it, I will try this out tomorrow
2nd best frontside flips 100%
so sick
thanks boss man ... ur f ing awesome...
legendary.
That person must want some attention real bad. Why would he hate on the classics? I guess he just wants people to notice him.
Prime boss
Griptape don’t sparkle like it used too 😩
thats prob because he sets up a brand new deck each time he goes skating
