You can clearly see the influence Busenitz had on mark and the way he skates. I first saw Suciu in the powell video Fun!, and he was doing crazy ledge dancing flip in and flip out type stuff but it just didn't look very good. We all thought he was talented though, it was plain to see he was kickflip back smithing actual handrails when he was like 13. Once mark toned down how crazy the tricks he were trying he really came into his own and emerged as one of the best in the world. It's crazy because he's still very technical but the difference is that he grew into his style, started to make sure to go fast as fuck for everything and began popping the shit out of everything. That sounds a bit like Busenitz to me.

To mark I would say that I'm happy to see your favorite skater be someone that I can actually see the influence in your own. You both have a lot of personality in your style.
