So many good jokes as always my guy. And the Cloud pun was a dad joke for the generation this game was made in. Keep em coming, can't wait for the next one! P.S. I'm quitting Tekken if they don't drop Tifa in T8. She's too perfect.
My friend gave me a HUGE plastic cutout of Doza's face that I now have pinned on my wall, and it's the first thing I see when I wake up. There is not a day that goes by where I do not think about this boujie ass game and I love it. Another banger vid tho, facts spat left and right! Keep doing your thing, bro 🔥🔥🔥
The reason why I bought this game back then is for the FF7 characters also I find the 2 side characters who has their own adventure Koji and Claire to be really better than the main cast on the game. As for the gameplay, it's really complex from moving and grapples there's perfect timing and key just frames. It's a fun game that gives you everything. A fighting game, mini games, unlockable characters, multiple endings and a whole completely different game that is pretty much a dungeon quest.
My favorite PS1 game was FFVII (Square had so many other hits, too) and I eventually became addicted to Tekken with 4. I loved this game and only become more nostalgic
Makin my way thru your brief catalog bro... your choice of games to cover, depth of coverage, hillarious dialogue + delivery.... REALLY impressive work from an old head... I'm 47 🥸👍! Thank you so much for covering this underrated gem. The depth of gameplay in this one always tripped me out. Always loved the mma, shitty dad character for his insane chain-throws. I swore Red XIII was in this game, at least at the arcade? I think I actually enjoyed this video even more than your recent Tekken Tag one! I know these gotta be alot of work, and I appreciate them greatly. I'm glad the algo suggested you homie. I hope you cover more O.G. fighters in your style.... it's refreshing.
Ayeee thank you for the continued support man! That “Red XIII” was actually an arcade boss which pretty much just ripped off his design lmao. I think you can see it being swung around by Tifa near the beginning. Again, I really appreciate the words. I plan to continue covering old fighting games like these for a while ✌🏼
20:24 I thought Masuda is unlocked if Arcade Mode is cleared with a male Ehrgeiz character, much like how Clair's unlocked if said mode is cleared with a female Ehrgeiz character.
21:46 iirc, tetsuya nomura did design zeke from xenoblade 2 and zeke basically carried that game. so theres a recent banger design that isnt just slapping belts on donald duck
Awesome video. New sub here. Side Note I saw the Tekken 2 video first...Thank you to recommended I think after playing this game for a long while, the controls kinda grow on you a bit and the more fun the game becomes. Not sure what can be done for on boarding to make it easier to understand other than a simple tutorial. The more you learn, the more fun the game becomes. I still watch current high level japanese players play just for fun. Those sets are still great. I think a series of this game has potential if further refined potentially. I feel the same about Power Stone as well(At least part 1's gameplay). Not sure how people would feel about more dynamic stages but they can be cool if done right. Super Dragon Ball Z did an awesome job with this. Tekken 4 and VF3 kinda had some cool ideas with stages as well.
Hey thank you so much for the encouragement bro! My next one is almost done, and I plan to be more consistent with them after! I apologize for the hiatus.
I never owned this game, but my friends and I did have it rented a lot. We were never the best at the game, but we had a lot of fun. This was around the time before Power Stone, and around the time of WuTang.
@@JuiceboxJoints it's decent, but definitely not as much substance as Ergheiz. While Ergheiz feels like Tekken, Wu-Tang feels more like Mortal Kombat, fatalities and all. I'm more a Tekken fan. The novelty of Wu-Tang itself is cool, because of the character names, designs, and actual Wu-Tang songs. I remember the story being weird, but my friends and I just played 4 player multi-tap.
Il die and fight on the Ehrgeiz hill any day. There is obvious jank because it's an early 3D game. But the game is awesome and a classic imo. I played it when it first came out. And like yeah, like you said. Virtua Fighter and o.g Tekken devs made it, just like Tobal no1. The pedigree is there, and I think the game was slightly ahead of it's time.
Yo I fully agree with everything you said. The control scheme was quite ambitious, but after taking the time to get comfortable with it…the game is surprisingly fun and has lots of depth. Funny cuz my opinion of the game has only grown more positive since I made this video lmao.
Your delivery during the Koji part killed me. Another great video man.
Thank you so much! Love your content so this means a lot.
"I gotta stop being positive all the time; that's how you get your ass beat."
Messing with this channel heavy man 👊🏿
This channel will blow up at some point, excited for your future projects
Makes my day that you have that much faith in me man…thank you very much! 👊🏼
2:10 I almost fell out of my chair LMAO. Found your channel looking up TAG1 videos SUBBED!

Loved the video! Ergheiz was VERY very underated and at the time, it felt quite an polished experrience.

Bruhh 💀 thank you for the words of encouragement tho! I’m looking forward to Remy part 2.
A light jazz rendition of Raid from MF Doom. I see you

Dude, you deserve so many more views/subs. Got into your channel after tekken tag bud. Will pass this on through my circle.
Aye thank you! I really appreciate that.
20:52 "Wooo~" 🤣
This actually looks pretty fun!
I remember this game, had a lot of fun with it back in the day. I wish Square would take more risks and try things like Ehrgeiz again.
Yea it’s a shame we’ll never see companies like Square experiment with games like these in the modern day.
My favorite PS1 game was FFVII (Square had so many other hits, too) and I eventually became addicted to Tekken with 4. I loved this game and only become more nostalgic
videos pretty rad ngl good stuff 🥶
I like how their thematic Jin and Hwaorang lost their limbs respective to their martial art. lmao.

I used to waste a lot of money at the arcade playing that back in the day. People always said it was wack but I loved it and the whole arena vibe.

Looking back at it, you’re right. Sorry bout that.

Comment for algorithm, another good one.

Is that Wu-Tang game actually good? Been meaning to check it out for a while lmao

Ahh I see, thank you for sharing!
Arcade version still looks amazing. Console version had alot of content! 9/10
The only thing that could possibly ruin this channel is if the creator was a xiayu player or something
For real that should be punishable by death 😓
☠️😂🤣😂

Chainsaw man fightstick is 🔥
Ayyy thanks
@@JuiceboxJoints np hope your channel blows up
i enjoyed this
Glad you did.
Tekken 8 should bring out Ken Mishima … like they did Raina
i'd play the shit out of a ehrgeiz 2 or remake with netplay ngl
Shinobi striker before Storm? Were you dropped as a baby
Idk, I don’t play none of that shit lmao
YOU SOUND LIKE EMINEM
Huh?? Is that bad? 😭
