+hilaly2009 You pretty much just have to wait for Samsung to send out the update to your specific county unless you find the update file online and install it manually that way. However, that requires quite a bit of work compared to just wait for the official release from Samsung.
Got the new color balance software update. Every single setting is completely off. Non of the settings make whites look white. Either they are dull yellow, or green or red. Whites are not white regardless of what setting is chosen. Really really bad update and bad panels from Samsung. Disappointed to say the least especially when compared side by side to one plus 3t.whites are white. And it's strange how one plus also has an oled panel yet it manages to get the whites spot on.
Because it's not a problem with the panel itself. It's a problem with Samsung's implementation of the color. Samsung went balls to the wall with their "Adaptive display" so much that they screwed the color balance. I just had to send a Note8 back because of this. No matter what I did I also still had pretty bad pink screen.
I have a question that you might be able to answer before the software update I only had the option to move the red all the way down but now I have the option to set it to cool and warm so if I put it all the way up to warm and then set the red all the way down. would that be the same as if I didn't get the update if I put the top one to warm and then bring the red down?
Quick question if you bring down the red balance won't that effect the other colors on the phone? Blues, greens, oranges ECT. When I dropped the red slider down my colors looked more dull less vibrant more washed out. It did take away the red tint on the whites tho

GUYS I FOUND OUT THE REAL WAY HOW TO FIX THIS! CHANGE YOUR SCREEN RESOLUTION TO 1480 x 720. THEN HOLD THE VOLUME DOWN AND POWER KEY UNTIL PHONE RESTARTS! Then change the screen resolution back and your good! 🥳🥳🥳 thank me later..
you are happy of that because samsung gives you an option to cheat yourself.. lol you have device with defective display and you are glad for that. man you should return that shit to samsung and take another one with good lcd!
so thats mean you don't have a luck, my phone now is OK, but i have to return first one and the second is good. sadly samsung sucks. I had all flag galaxy phones, last one - s7 edge was the best. I think s8+ was last samsung device ive ever bought... sadly newest devices have more and more bugs.

BASIC MODE. everyone... really any other options still make you cringe. the Basic Mode creates a little resemblance to the supposed balanced tint.
