I own this car and love it for its comfort, fuel economy and a surprisingly silent ride. Of course it's not a sport car but I don't mind and even always drive in ECO mode because it's smoother.

WORTH TRADING IN MY 2020 KIA SOUL LX!I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER KIA PRODUCT NEVER NEVER AGAIN!! I ALSO GOT MINE FROM PINE BELT NISSAN IN TOMS RIVER NEW JERSEY!! GREAT NISSAN DEALERSHIP!
I just got a 2019 Sentra last night. I blew the engine for my last car so this was completely unplanned. I used a Sentra for a rental car a couple years back and I loved driving it. Now I have a Sentra and I'm in love with it! Also it's very roomy.
I just bought mine and have one big issue no windshield wiper in back and the visor covers my whole face. I'm definitely going get a car starter in stalled too
@@troywagnon135 it was mostly the first cvt they used back in 2003 I think it was and then the cvt in 2012-2018 that had the real issues. 2019 had some here and there but nowhere near those previous years. Plus like the saying goes you take care of it and it will take care of you, more so for the 2019. I've read people that have 300k miles on these cars
The Sentra is an okay car, but there are a lot of things that I would want changed. (my opinion) First starting with the bubbly looking steering wheel, which with the other cheap "particles" in the car it fits but doesn't look good. Also the small screen and a six speaker sound system are a little disappointing, but it is a smaller car. The very last thing I do not like is the CVT. And finally all the things I like about it are the wheels and the LED headlights. (but maybe throw in LED taillights?)
Hello Andrew! Nice to see a Nissan review, since I like Nissan a lot. A 4-cylinder-inline engine with just 188 hp may carry the name NISMO?? :D I like 370z inspired steering wheel... :)) All in all not a bad package for the price. Thanks for releasing a HQ review again... always enjoy it! :)
Liliana Camacho yeah I’m glad you see what i mean, the civic needs to improve their back seat once they do they will sell massive amounts. I have a 2020 accord and those do have great back seats for passengers
I know its a older video, but just bought this car, have you, or anyone experienced when putting into gear you hear a metal on metal clink sound? Also when accelerating and slowing down it does it. Had the dealership look and they said they didn't notice it.
I have the same car and I bought it from enterprise so a rental car. I got it at 38k miles and so I changed the trans fluid than and I will again at 60 and it seemed to smooth everything out I would say change the trans fluid. It’s like $400 but will make it last longer and maybe get rid of the sound. Plus every time I park mine I always put it in neutral and use parking brake and than put it in park and that might help the parking sound

I know that song very well. I bang that song all the time on my system and I know how it should sound. Lol I mentioned in the past you should compare a strong aftermarket system to an upgraded optional music system on something like a BMW or Lexus. Something that a car maker would charge thousands extra for like Mark Levinson to see how they compare.
@@goldpony You def would have the experience to be able to tell if it's worth the extra few thousand to upgrade. Maybe if you have a buddy with a system in their car you could do a comparison. I would offer mine to compare, but I'm in the York area too sporadically.
I was given one of these as a rental last week and returned it last night and after a week of driving it I came to the strong conclusion I would never want to own one. I'm pretty sure the 2019 model we had didn't have a cvt transmission because you could hear it shift at odd times not when you expected it to. This car was too small for me I'm 5'1" (someone commented on this comment and it should be 5'11") and felt cramped so if you're a smaller person and like buzzy loud little cars this would suit you, has torque steer if you accidentally step on the gas too hard also.
The 2019 only comes with manual or cvt transmission. The loud engine/Rev sound is normal. If your not used to driving cvt cars it can take getting used to. Much different feel the regular automatic.
Nissan recommends premium fuel for the turbo engine (MR16DDT) in the SR Turbo and Nismo models. Regular can be used but performance will decrease. There isn't much point to buying a car with a performance engine and then have its performance reduced by not using the recommended fuel. I'm assuming that when you state the fuel type in your videos, you're following the manufacturer's recommendation.
I like the design. But if you’re looking to buy one.. absolutely do NOT get the base model. Very cheaply made. Seats are also highly uncomfortable if you’re in the base model. (Experience from Rental)
I alluded to all the trims at the beginning so no this is not the turbo I just wanted to mention that as well as nismo so people were aware of all trim levels 👍
It's not a sports car or even a luxury car. It's simply a point a to point b very basic family car. If u didn't get the nismo of course. S model is most basic of all.
My dad had a Nissan Sentra brand new in 1988 what a piece of shit LEGO’s were more sturdy but I will say the exhaust didn’t wobble like this 2019 exhaust wtf Nissan Sentra will and always be a poor mans sports car
Got this a rental car coming from Toyota Camry i find it cramped and slow. The transmission whines and moans just to get to 30 mph forgot trying to get to 60 mph. I do however like the fuel economy gettIng upwards of 40 + mpg. Feels like chick mobile

Weird. I just bought one too. And I ended up junking my Kia today as well.
The Nismo is really nice, but it’s kinda weird how they made it for a Sentra, but not for a Altima or Maxima.

The steering wheel and sound system you don't like can be solved by buying and installing aftermarket upgrades.:)

If you you gets a Sentra, make sure you change the the fluid of the CVT after like 30k miles and you should be OK 👍
Good review & great Sentra.
Honda Civic needs more spacious back seats like the Nissan Sentra.
