I'm very sorry to hear of what must be an awful struggle for you, my father has early stages of dementia. I truly hope things get better for you and something good can come your way this Christmas.
I am spending my Christmas day watching Mr Bald's videos. I am 65 with COPD Emphasemia, Vascular disease and heart failure. My girlfriend 43 has terminal Lupus SLE - watching this, there is always someone worse off. Poor old chap. Seems such a nice man too.
Merry Christmas you legend. You made the almost unbearable 2019 easier to deal with, with that Soviet curiousity of yours that has now become mine! Good luck in 2020 and stay safe!
Merry Christmas Ben, and to everyone in the Bald and Bankrupt family! Wishing you all the best. My gift to my fiancée is a romantic trip to Lviv, Ukraine. It will be our first time in the former Soviet Union. I truly can't wait! Thank you Bald for inspiring this trip!
Lviv is a very beautiful city. It feels so very European and less Soviet compared to other cities. You'll love it. :D it's my favourite out of cities in Ukraine that I've been to.
Its incredible to think that as we live our normal daily lives going to work, or out to eat that there is a man living completely alone in a ghost town in Chernobyl. Right now as i type this he is there in that house all alone. Merry Christmas to him. And to you Benjamin!!!
If you would like to visit Chernobyl and the abandoned city of Pripyat in Ukraine then I can highly recommend SoloEast Travel. They helped me organise my trip and took me to see everything I wanted including meeting the re-settlers in the villages and drinking moonshine with babushkas. Their website is here: www.tourkiev.com Part two will be out soon. Have a great Christmas!
It's amazing how tough those people are and how they overcame such a tragedy. It makes me feel like a wimp. I couldn't bare the loneliness let alone the disaster that struck them.
Can we sell some of those "enjoy chernobyl" coca cola style t shirts the man is wearing to raise money for the poor old bugger, so his son can visit or something? I feel so hopeless behind the keyboard when I watch this. Breaks my heart. I'd love to help him and I love his t shirt!
More videos like this one please. Chernobyl zone is fascinating. Wander around , check places . It gives goosebumps to watch everything being abandoned like that. Love it!
I second this. I am fascinated by the disaster and am also fascinated by abandoned stuff and love old soviet architecture, so this place is like heaven for me. I'd love to see more.
Bald. I have seen this channel grow from humble Belarusian beginnings to epic Hindustani adventures. I am not alone in saying this. Merry Christmas! We wait with baited breath for your next 2020 saga. Love and warm wishes from Canada 🇨🇦. Cheers bro 🍻!
You're videos make my life substantially better, especially when things aren't going great. I just wish you made more frequent videos! Especially the ones where you interact with strange and interesting people. Merry Christmas Big Ben!

I am sorry to be late Mr Bald, but I have had connection problems, but I would love to wish you all the best, for you, and your family, for the festive season, and especially a safe and rewarding 2020. I would love it if you were able to have a question and answer live stream on new years eve, but wherever you are, stay safe and all the best for your future journeys.
