Hey Robert, thanks for taking time to make the video. I am a retired mechanic by trade, so I know my way around many kinds of machinery. It's thanks to folks like you that make it easier for folks like me, who are just not that confident in tearing apart certain things for the first time. Each job has it's ins and outs, tricks of the trade sort-a-speak. I have saved myself thousands on doing my own work and I just want you to know that I appreciate your kindness. Now it is time to find me to find some parts.

A very helpful video, thank you. In my repair of a Gibson electric dryer, I discovered that the drum back was supported by a ball-like joint which required me to lift it out of the socket which held it before I could pull the drum forward. Took several hours to dismantle, clean, lubricate, and reassembly my dryer, but if it continues to work I will have saved some serious money. The front panel had clips on either side that were hard to reach and pinch closed to release the panel, but with perseverance was able to get the panel removed. A good experience through which I learned a bit and feel a good sense of accomplishment. You Tube is awesome as a tutorial resource to assist an ordinary bloke like me to make repairs. Thanks.

I’ve seen several videos that do not say the motor is bad just because of a hum sound when pushing start button. Maybe you’ve tested the motor & know it’s bad but others sometimes greased up the motor and got it going again.
I have no funds for a repair person. I’ve tried disassembling and fully cleaning my Kenmore 90 Series. I thought I greased the motor but I may try that again because I’m not sure if it was the motor or if I greased it enough or in the right place.
I know I can’t afford repairs and certainly can’t afford $$$ laundromat, so I’ve gotta figure out how to fix this myself.
    Any advice?
Thank you and God Bless. 77)
