Bungie, i own the original game and both Exps. Why can't i get the class specific emotes and class items if i pick up the digital edition of The Taken King? It's only available for the digital and retail collector's edition ($80). Come on, i've been with you guys since day 1.
Regardless, this looks great. I just wish the day one Guardians got treated a bit better.

Gerrel Saunders Yep. The "VIP" shader, sparrow and emblem look really cool for us, but yes, they definitely need to offer the collector's edition emotes, shaders and class items to pre-existing players by purchasing The Taken King. Even if it's a pre-order bonus, I don't care, haha.

@@Coeaxe Forasken suck. Why because Taking King remade the game made it best as it can be. Forsken just returned what TTK given us. Forsaken - no interesting secrets, no cool enemys, rais suck, raid boss suck, no cool looking armor or weapons, time gated content...its sucks.
@@deusmuerte6832 No interesting secrets?? Dreaming City is literally an endgame paradise filled with secrets and it constantly evolves, way more than the Dreadnaught. How does Last Wish suck? It's the biggest raid in destiny, filled with plenty of unique encounters and Riven (when done legit) is the best designed fight in all of Destiny, much better than Oryx where you stand on plates. You get two destinations, the biggest raid in Destiny history, a dungeon, gambit (which was okay for a time), actual usable raid weapons One Thousand Voices >> Touch of Malice (remember King's Fall weapons were garbage), and more. Also TTK has plenty of time gated content as well...

Anyone notice how the ememy names for the taken have changed? At 4:58 we have names like Lurk, Skiver, and Ripper instead of Taken Thrall or Taken Acolyte. Interesting to see how it evolved up to release

Christopher C Except it looks as though the Sunbreaker is similar to Gunslinger in that you do have a timed super, but have so many shots before it just runs out.
And from what I saw you only get two, maybe three charges for Sunbreaker.

On the website, they show off a few abilities and they have a similar perk to encore for the hammer, but you also gain an over shield

I have 800 hours in total, its worth it. I had a level 30 hunter when 30 was the level cap, in February I
had 32s of every class, now I have 34s of every class with every exotic in the game.
Kegan Ramsey-Hess this is so important for your life man. These 800 hours playing destiny will bring you forward in life for sure. That was totally worth it. I mean, now you have all these awesome characters and weapons in a video game !

Ayrton Sy Either they just loaded up CE in a trial mode so he could just smack and kill him, or they timed it reeeally well so that they broke his shield right as he swung on a normal mode. But the former is very much likely lol and Jacob no you can't, it just shows up as immune if you hit him with the sword while he has a shield on.
+Hollowborn -S they probably did it on a dev build where they can modify whatever they want. after that, it's just as simple as removing his shield so he takes damage while standing

I have played the game ever since.

If Destiny had just come out with all of the content from The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King, it would have been given raving reviews. Just sayin', I know they learned a lot from the less-than-perfect launch but can you imagine? This is how I experienced The Taken King, I waited to buy the game until this content was released. I definitely had a much better experience that most.
maybe not raving the story is still horrible.
The quest system made massive improvements though, it added meat. You're not wrong but the reviews would have been much nicer.

The Vex have a dark history. Im very interested in the lore, and i think i've latched onto the story. Hopefully the Taken King will allow me to understand more about certain characters.
