1. That Captian was not in the VoG. That was most likely a story mission.
2. Those looked like normal Pikes to me except with a House of Wolves color scheme.
3. That's the Lord of Wolves in the Titan's hands

stok5445 Ah okay. I see it now. The fusion rifle one that is. Story mission doesn't change the fact that a Fallen captain is in the VoG area though. What would the Fallen be doing in there....? And pike themed sparrows could still be a possibility. I just wish TDB had a Hive themed sparrow other than a recolored vanguard sparrow.

And yey for sidearms! They look fun. I've spotted at least 2 different ones so far. Sadly they were both Arc damage so I hope they come in different elements.

Antorico2 Gaming The bosses in the Prison of Elders will be similar to the bosses from Strikes (enlarged versions of already-existing enemies) but it looks like each one will have a unique and interesting ability. It will be a little more different to Strike, but you'll most likely still just have to shoot them rather than kill them with a bunch of mechanics.

Being completely Honest, the Dark Below showcased some of the worst Destiny has to offer and it left a bad taste in most people who played its mouths.

One of the best decisions with this expansion was to make sure old gear could come forward. Keep building, not limiting.
"You're building this character that will persist in the future" gear becomes useless because of taken king

Pause at 4:49 and you can see that there are 3 exotics, Lord of Wolves, Dreg's Promise and a sniper which can be seen a few seconds before!

I also heard about something in this Expansion called Halls of Amnetet, it's a Social Hub on Mercury where only players who were tested in the Trials of Osiris are allowed to enter

Besides, Destiny commits so many of these anti-consumer offences that it's hard not to bring it up when talking about the game.
Arno Dorian Thats absolute bullshit. Any and all material shown in previews before release is subject to the will of the developer and is considered work in progress. No one ever promised any of it would be available in the original retail launch, no one ever promised it would be available at all. Assuming that all of the content would have to be in the final game at launch, then being butthurt when some of it shows up later on is absolutely ridiculous.
Assumptions about it being taken off the disc or locked on the disc are thrown about, yet we still have 4 to 6 gigabyte patches to install that have been proven to include large amounts of new geometry when installed.
Please inform us all of these "Anti-Consumer" Offenses that Bungie is guilty of.
BLUGGLES This DLC content has been found on the disc. You musn't have been on youtube during this games release. Bdobbins covers it quite well.
Also, considering this was shown in a trailer a year before the game came out, one can assume this content was ready at launch. It seems likely given other content was locked away.
Hell even a group of reliable testers back in early 2013 gave a story synopsis that sounded far different to what we got. A lot of what they told us ended up becoming DLC (House of Wolves especially)
There's no debate at this point. Content has been stripped away from the disc. It's understandable why they did it and I'm sure they're making a shitload extra cash because of it, but in the process they lost the respect of a lot of consumers, including me.
With that said, here are some anti-consumer practises:
- Content stripped away from disc.

- Charging content taken out of original game for extra money. They're milking the consumer.
- Also the fact the consumer has to wait for this content when they should have received it on day one.
- From what I've heard they supposedly removed some content away from House of Wolves and moved it into 'Comet' as well, such as a raid.
They butchered the game, cut content out and re-sold it as DLC to make some extra cash. There is no denying that.
Have they done anything illegal? No. They haven't. What they have done is pulled shady bs to milk consumers of their money, simple as that.

It's Jokers This was the HoW surprise they talked about. They said they would have a surprise video. They wouldn't hint at Xur selling Thunderlord because they still want people to believe that it's random. (Even thought megaman on Reddit said it would be sold today a long time ago.)
Either way, I'm not very surprised. Now, a sparrow with guns, that would've been surprising. After all, the Fallen have Pikes. Would've made sense. But I highly doubt we'll ever get anything like that.

Yeah, this all sounds great until you realize that this content will probably last a month, at which point we'll be asking ourselves why exactly we were so excited when we knew this was going to happen. Basically, if you don't PVP then this expansion is going to be completely boring for you. You get a few missions, 1 strike, and a thing that is basically another version of Nightfalls, weeeeee.

Seriously Bungie are taking a step in the right direction with the way DLC is looking. I'm glad they delayed this 'raid' coming out in the summer or afterwards, maybe they're planning something hella special for it and it'll be something we're glad wasnt rushed.

I'm not getting robbed, its not actually cut content, the only thing there was the area templates! New areas have TONS of data with it, and if the templates weren't already there, the download would take a much longer time.
