Me trying to use a fun gimmicky build
The survivors I go against:
My philosophy surrounding that situation is: "I'm fine with losing this match because I don't want to continue seeing teams like this" I'd rather lose and meet other players with fun playstyles/perks rather than win and have more games like this

@ComeHereHaze funnily enough I was using a fast nurse build where I used Matchbox and Spasmodic Breath add ons and I used Bamboozle and Play With Your Food. It worked almost every time because no one expects a nurse going at 4.6 m/s or even faster with pwyf
If you're trying to use a fun gimmicky build you should expect the result according to that tho?
@@ana_1661 I don't think anyone is expecting a crushing 4K out of a fun build, but as you can see the killers here could BARELY even get around 2 to 3 hooks. That's not entitlement that is straight up a shit experience for killer

I watched it too and I won’t lie he could’ve done so much better. It’s been a week since I watched so I can’t remember exactly but there were so many simple mistakes that someone in a pro setting wouldn’t have made that I don’t think it truly showcased what could happen unfortunately. Spooky is a good killer player but it was obvious he doesn’t play some of these killers as often as he does ones like huntress.

@@jR0xas don’t get me wrong I’m by no means slamming him as a killer but to put a non comp killer against an actual group of comp survivors who hold the record for most escapes? It just wasn’t a fair showcasing of the killers themselves and their potential in a match

For Nemesis, isn't it better to run into a zombie before he hits you? Robs him of a ton of mutation
Only if it's a choice between his hit and the zombie hit otherwise you're just taking a health state from yourself and he'll use power to hit you anyway

Ask yourself this question again and then ask yourself how that possibly makes less than a micron of sense.
Here, let me spell it out for you. It takes 6 mutation points for him to get to tier 2. He gets 3 mutation points when his tentacle infects a survivor, 1 point when he tentacles a zombie or infected survivor, and 0 points from anything else including zombies injecting survivors. To get out of tier 1, he can infect two survivors, infect one survivor then get any 3 tentacle hits, or get 6 tentacle hits either on zombies that are spread out to the point where you would lose by trying to get out of tier 1 with them, or on survivors that can often easily avoid it/bait your tentacle to make it take longer.
Getting infected also gives survivors the same speed boost as getting injured. Unless you terribly miss time it and get double hit, choosing to get infected by a zombie gives you distance, and robs the killer of the time saved by just infecting survivors. The only time where I could see this but being a completely invalid strategy that should never be considered like you claim is when you could either choose to get infected by the zombie, or significantly increase the initial chase by dropping a pallet and getting tentacled at the same time

Every time I cast for Dan or Laser, it’s always fun to hop into their VC just to talk to them for a bit before their next match. It’s quite literally a honor to cast them in CPL. I only wish to do more.
i would like it a lot if you and your team brought(or just you) brought some insight on how to play against each killer being solo player/duo. i've been back in the game for some time now, and i'm having some trouble against some, like dredge and Artist, i got back some of my old knowledge to use against some of the new but those 2 no matter what the matches against them i can pull a outplay or two but always end up being downed fast(and being camped) most of the time, i would like at least to be able to learn how to hold them more! thanks a lot for all the videos you already did to help!! i'm more than greatful for all your content!

I saw Spookys POV in the Legion Match and was impressed from Laser, how he Counters Legions Power is just Big Brain.
That Legion game was so frustrating to watch from Spooky's perspective lol Laser always being there to tank a hit from Feral Frenzy would have blew my gasket if I played against that kind of strategy. Damn good plays though.
After checking the footage carefully and a thorough investigation, we have concluded that the logical solution is to nerf The Pig.
This is English yet seems so foreign. I am impressed with the way y'all describe the map and calling out play by play. Pretty cool, men.
when i was watching spooky's video i could just hear the terror and frustration whenever he would get a ping hit on Dan or Laser 😂

All of you were lagging the whole game. Someone wity 2 yellow bar, someone with 1 red bar, someone with red delay arrow, etc. Game could go even better if you all were on same region without any lag and delay input

Not every, but like 30% yes, on high mmr or during late night or at weekends.
Pro teams are not that rare as the community thinks. They dont need to go for tournaments to play competitive. Will to win is leading to play efficiently. Almost every swf use clock system to communicate, for example

I would love to see videos like this but with the stipulation that the survivors are not allowed to communicate once the match starts to simulate the solo queue experience.
Also I have a question, is there a reason that you guys never use Distortion? I find that its a really amazing information perk that can tell you a lot about killer builds. Is it just that at this level killers don't often use Aura perks?
I believe there's a phrase that goes something like "a good survivor doesn't care if you know where they are." When it comes to DBD, the most critical element is wasting or saving time, depending on which side you're on, so being able to loop efficiently will earn more time for your team than trying to use stealth to hide (because when the killer isn't in chase, that time can be used to break pallets/walls, damage generators, etc.)
@@RoyalCrest-LetsPlaysAndMore I use distortion purely as an information perk to figure out what build the killer is using. You can accurately discern so many perks with distortion:
Nurses, Awakened Awareness, BBQ, Bitter Murmur, Blood Warden (you can figure this out before the killer even hooks someone), Darkness Revealed, (not sure about Deerstalker.. no ones used it since I picked up Distortion), Gearhead, Face the Darkness, Retribution, Undying, All Ears, Lethal Pursuer, Lightborn (though this is kind of a meme), Nemesis (similarly kind of a meme), Nowhere to Hide, Rancor, Floods of Rage, Shattered Hope, Territorial Imperative, THWACK!, as well as a ton of add-ons. Not to mention it can give you the information with 100% certainty that the killer is *_NOT_* running these perks.
(that is 20 perks not including Deer Stalker because I am not sure if Distortion works against it)
No other singular perk in the game gives you this amount of pinpoint information on the killers build, and given that fact it doesn't really make sense to me that these high level dbd teams don't have 1 person running Distortion, especially if one of their main concerns is figuring out if the killer is running NOED.
@@kilikx1x hens’s swf would already communicate perks to eachother, and would be knowledgeable enough to notice most of the perks without distortion anyway, so it’s not really neccesary
@@kilikx1x because you can distinguish the majority of perks the killer is running without it regardless, my friend and I do it as a duo just playing casually. Even information perks you can tell pretty apparently by how the killer plays. Like it's fairly obvious when someone is running BBQ or Nowhere to Hide. There just isn't enough upside for a pro team that will end up figuring out a build pretty quick without it anyway over something else they could bring

Question: Do you have that overlay up while you play? (The clock callouts overlay) Or do you have the map memorized? My brother and I have differing theories.
As far as I know some competetive teams no only have the clock setup memorized but also lots of details and distances on the map, since they usually know which map they'll play beforehand. They'll know exactly wether and how they can reach a vault location from certain spots before the killer does (at least for places that are not randomly generated).
pretty much any team only lets u in if u know the maps fluently and without thinking so u can callout instantly where u are no matter what. so yh the memorize

If survivors do gens efficiently , you can easily drop pallets without running out of resources but in solo que you will end up having a dead zone map with just using 2 weak pallets...

There is a common opinion amongst survivormains that every killer can do at least a tie, depending how he plays. And most funny part that they even think that its possible without tunneling or camping

I thought bhvr fixed it so you couldn't cheat and make the red stain look like that anymore so you can see it through walls and stuff easier. Only thing missing from this is stretch resolution.

I'd assume you mean it's regarding callouts, it's usually by landmarks.

Having played Legion against sweaty SWFs, I could easily guess the result in advance. Still, impressive to see the survivor side after being on the receiving end. The survs do not only play against Legion well, but they also know the map so perfectly that they can "spawn" someone to bodyblock every time the killer could get a down.
I think this shows just how broken comms are in this game. Even with very good survs, most of the insane bodyblocks would not have happened without comms. In the Nemesis game they also knew the kiler had NOED just because they told each other the perks they'd seen. There's also the distortion thing to call out Lethal pursuer, etc. I wouldn't like to be in place of BHVR trying to balance this mess.

Seriously, killers should receive some sort of bonus like more BP when faced against SWF teams.
Killer definitely could have played better and made a couple clumsy plays as both Legion and Nemi. I doubt the end result would have changed regardless though.
Spooky is a good killer. You can watch his pov and explain where did you see clumsy plays, maybe 1-2 and not that clumsy
This would have been a lot better if they went up against proper legion and nemi mains (Tatariu and D3ad Plays respectively) for a more effective experiment.
