This is a really good video. I ordered one of these things last week after watching this and its simply incredible. My dog is going through chemotherapy so she has been shedding even more than normal. Sat down and was petting her for like 20mins and got a crazy amount of hair off easily and she reacted fine to the glove. Love it.
Aww, I hope your dog gets better. This would be ideal for such a situation.

I have a similar glove I use on my rabbits and cats. (Longhair and shorthair) I find it works really well. Sometimes it takes a moment to get down into the loose stuff. I live in an apartment so the fact that it holds onto the hair when brushing is a big bonus.

I just bought the glove today and I used it on my 3 month old husky who isn't shedding quite alot yet but it definitely gets a good bit of hair off and definitely use it outside.

Like many others who have a furry companion that HATES the comb & brush thing, my cat LOVES being groomed with a glove...although I didn't get this particular brand. I agree with the people who say that the dog...or cat, feels like they're being petted. Btw...if you apply gentle pressure with the glove formed around parts of their body, these gloves don't just pick up hair but they also give the dog/cat a gentle massage...which is something that's missing with the other grooming methods. I mention this because when my sister-in-law got Asha from a cat shelter, she was very sick...& I honestly thought I was going to lose her. Besides the other things that were done to help Asha heal, I'd lay her on my lap...& I'd talk to her...& lightly massage her body. I TRULY believe that physical touch is healing...both for animals & people... PS: Asha is long haired & most of what the glove picks up peels off easily. Also, even if these gloves do pick up a bit less hair with each stroke then a comb or brush does...if your furry companion is miserable being groomed with them then taking a little extra time to use the glove shouldn't be an issue for you!!!
I use something similar , not blue. Just black and came with two. I use it . Mine peeled right off too.

I think a problem could be with the bristles not being long enough to really get the undercoat shedding. If done with more pressure and more frequency, maybe, but it's certainly not worth it unless you are having trouble brush training.
Your pets are a) gorgeous and b) lovin’ when review pet hair products! Lucky animals having you for their human. My 12 year old fur machine (Golden Lab and Golden Retriever mix) wants to know if you will adopt her 😊❤️

We love this. One of our cats has longer fuller hair. He LOVES being brushed and it takes a ton of hair off him; especially the undercoat. Great product. Our dog has a shorter coat; doesn’t work as well on her.

My dog and cat LOVED This. We had it forever but eventually the Velcro stopped sticking and they chewed off some of the pieces. We got a similar paw shaped one from 5 below and it’s not the same. It’s harder to use because of it not having the fingers and way harder to clean out. Definitely recommend this one.

The thing about this that I think is most ideal, is the fact that it's a glove. I might actually pick one of these up now. I have two cats, a long hair and short hair. My cats both just attack the hell out of a brush like it's a toy so it's just a hassle to brush them. They love getting pet though obviously, so this would likely be a huge hit. It's also 50% off right now... So $10 for a nice glove brush? Might have to get it.
I bought a two-pack of a similar glove off Amazon for the price of one of these. They're amazing! My German Shepherds LOVE being petted with these gloves on. And yes, the fur peels off as long as you get enough built up on it.
This dog looks like a Bailey who was in movie "A Dog''s Purpose", and it's Golden Retriever too 😃
Hey great video man! Loved the real life demonstrations and comparisons between your glove and the brush. I have a Husky so you can imagine how much she sheds. Been thinking about picking one of these up.
I had one of these . It seem to work but I am a small person with small hands. I couldn't keep the glove on. You can't brush with one hand and hold it on with the other hand. Since the brush part is a semi-hard rubber, I couldn't get a rubber band to work either. I wish they would make a small, med and large glove. It would be worth trying it again, in a small size.

In the end this is not only a product for your pet, but also a product for you. The glove works fine but generally a brush for pets will do better job. But if your pet doesn't like brushes or you personally preffer to stroke your pet rather than to brush it it's a fine product. Great review BTW!!!

TheClairemyst .... hoover with animal attachment, and a lint roller. You know the the sticks with a rotating tube on the end? You can roll it over furniture, cushions etc.
We hoover twice a day so we don’t really see it on the carpets or floor, but the roller is perfect for our clothes and everything else.

Yep. I have a Chocolate Lab and a Beagle/ Terrier. I learned about the banging your hand on the ground trick to get Dixie's short hair off of it by trial and error. Worked like a charm! Even Beau's long hair though just doesn't peel off easy. So I just bang the glove on the ground and the hair comes right off for both dogs :)

My dog hates brushes, he only tolerates being brushed for a really short time so I hope he likes this lol The pets seem to love it so I don't mind if it's a little less effective as long as he likes it!
I bought a version of the True Touch Deshedding Pet Brush years ago. Goodness knows where it is now. It worked all right and my cats didn't mind being groomed with it. If I remember correctly, it wasn't blue like yours, but light brown/gold-ish. All this was pre-dog. What are the names of your chihuahua and cat by the way? You didn't mention that in your video. Your pets are adorable!

When I was a little kid in the late nineties, we had a pet brush glove that was literally identical to this one in every way (although it was white instead of blue), and it worked great on our cat lol. This is definitely not a new product, though..
I have these for my frenchie. I put both on and just go to town. The hair flies away since they are short hairs. Anything built up on the gloves, i just take the gloves off and smack them together.

Thank you for mentioning the difference between lots of hair vs little hair, because I had hard time cleaning the glove, so I had to wash it.

I just ordered this after sitting on my bed and brushing my dog with a human plastic comb… it worked but took forever. He has short hair but still sheds a lot

The best hair deshedding device I've ever used is the Furminator ! Expensive but really does the job !
I love my cheap Amazon version of these gloves with cats. Cats hate normal brushes but they love being pet with these.
works great for my short hair cat. she loves to move around while i brush her so its hard and annoying with a brush, with the glove i can just pet her while she's happily rolling around. she loves being brushed but just cant sit still at all.
Not sure if you look at comments from old videos, but I like the Furminator brush. the first use shocked me.
I feel like using this along WITH a brush is best, because with my cat it can be difficult to pick up the leftover hair on the base of his tail

If I brush short and quick on my cat I get a LOT of hzir then after a few strokes, go long to get what I have loosened up. I am going to try the tapping of the glove to get rid of stubborn hairs.

I love my glove. I have a cat that loves to be rubbed so she loves it to. I brush all the hair up and then brush it all back down.
i bought this product for my cat cause he hates to be combed, it works ok, but ya the only issue i have with it is removing the fur from the glove, its a bit harder than say a big dog I will have to try ur technique and bang to remove. I give it about a 6-7/10 its alright.

These de shredding gloves really do work .they are fantastic
there possibly also getting a more petting feel then a combing feel so a sorta plus to them
I've got a fine tooth deshedding comb for my two beagles. I'm thinking about getting this true touch glove to finish up after the comb. It looks like it might be able to get the stray hairs that the comb misses.
I end up brushing my dogs off with my hand after I comb them anyway.

Well not only are you using that glove to get their fur.but your making their fur shiny and getting dirt out of their furs so your doing pretty well.

This didn't work very well on our boxer. The short hair doesn't come off or peel off well.

My sister got one of these. It's the only way she can brush one of her cats. Her other long haired cat tolerates it for about ten seconds. But that's more than he tolerates the brush lol.

a simple brush would be more effective. Try the Furminator! It is really good.
Its not too problematic that it doesnt come out in a small amount bc you can just keep all the hair in there till next brush, build it up over time then release the hair at once, clean and repeat!
All of these kind of grooming brushes preform better, if you wash them before first use with washing-up liquid! It will take away the oily stuff from manufacturing❤
My German shepherd, Astro, absolutely hates being brushed (he’ll tolerate it for a while but he gets annoyed p easily)
So we use these gloves and he definitely likes it more

I use the glove on my cats all the time. They love it and it works.
I am one for my beagle and it works great. The only problem I find with it though is that it is made for the right hand only and just a little big. I wish they would make one for left hand and make them in sizes small and medium not every one has a large hand.
I think originally there was a left handed version on the website. It's definitely something they should offer.
Also in all sizes not just one.......is not a one size fits all type of item.
That gloves works best when the fur or the glove so a bit damp/wet

I don't need it to work better than a brush. I need it to work AT ALL. Two of my cats are very stupid about being brushed but they love getting patted and stroked, so hopefully this will be a solution to prevent hairball creation.
. My cat loves to snuggle but she triggers my hay fever allergies every time. I tried brushing but She moves away after a couple strokes. So here's hoping this works
