Thats what I would suggest: use one of the other templates to add the slash if you can find one that would do it I would like to hear which one you used...
3:56 As he shows the finish results there is a optical illusion of the letters, some look concaved and some look convexed. If you shift you focus point all the letters will look concaved. Partly because you know it is concaved. Thanks for the video.
I purchased the larger set and was very disappointed with quality. The brass guides that come with the set are garbage. They both broke after a couple of passes. After the first one broke I called and had it replaced by Rockler. The second one broke as well and made the router jump out of the plastic letters tearing them up. Total waste of money. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Can I paint letters, sand the edges, then put polyurethane over the paint? Thanks!

Can the kit be used with a fixed router
Hi Bob, we don’t recommend using a fixed-base router with our Signmaker’s Templates. They are designed to be used with a plunge-base router.
What kind of big did you use ?
**bit**
Hello, could you tell me if the kit used in the video is the 2 1/4" or 3 3/8" version?
I'm pretty sure that's the larger of the two. I have the smaller version.
I knew there had to be an easy way. All the vids I saw was stencils and free handing it. I've been doing it this way until these bad boys show up.
