THIS DUDE IS FREAKING LEGIT!!!! I JUST DID WHAT HE SHOWED IN THE VIDEO AND IT WORKED!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Good video Visiting parents for the holidays and the upstairs bathroom sink stopped draining. Took apart the pipes under the sink and cleaned them out. Rain a snake down the pipe that comes out of the wall and collected a lot of gunk. Put everything back together and poured four cups of vinegar down the drain followed by a full kettle of hot water. Did this twice. Drains super fast now! Merry Christmas Jonny.
You are the man ! I have tried FOR YEARS to get a VERY slow draining guest bedroom bathtub drain to be cleared -using initially a small wire snake ,solid wire , vinegar and baking soda with hot water .Recently, drain virtually stopped after last used this spring . Was worried cast iron pipe had shifted after possibly being cracked and would need big plumber repair to fix it /clear it .But instead I tried your methods of plunger with rag first ( no go) , then tried repeated shop vacuuming( using a rag plug) and via sucking and blowing through the bathtub drain -using the wet CLOTH (not paper paper towel!) plug method. After about four attempts of vacuuming and blowing through the drain ,no joy! I thought “just one more time vacuuming “ and THAT was it ! It brought up a big black oily tarry glob of hair right up to the drain grate itself . Vacuumed a second time and it brought up a little mucky but not a hairy glob . Then ran hot water to flush the residual slime and am good to go! Thanks again!
Thank you so much!!! My tub completely stopped draining & I was STRESSING about calling my leasing office for maintenance! I tried baking soda & vinegar, didn't work then went out & bought that snake thing, still didn't work BUT that plunger method!!! 👌👌👌 worked like a charm!!!

After watching this video it gave me the confidence to clear my shower drain after dealing with a very slow drain for 3 years. Using your tips I removed a huge amount of nasty hair and who knows what else. Flushed it a few times with boiling water and it's now working like new. Thanks so much for your video.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! I am pretty self sufficient but this backed up is really testing my patience. I am so glad I don't have to disassemble all my plumbing!
Appreciate the video, very thorough and great explanations! I like the simple options A, B, C and then the heavy duty auger snake option - Learned a lot from this!
This helped a lot. Even though my home is old, the snake kept going towards the drain. Which did clear it. But I have tree root issues as well. I did lose a screw down the overflow. I hope that won’t cause an issue.
Definitely helped me out. When I tried plunging it initially, it only made things worse and turned a slow drain to a complete stop, but putting the wet rag over the overflow let me finally dislodge whatever was in there, and now it drains like new.
Thanks so much for this video and advice! I have been messing with it for a while now and the shopvac and plunger combo worked!!!! I have a drill powered drain auger but have not been lucky and the Draino’s are not helpful. This video was what was worked. Thanks so much again!

I have a built in ( + ) type of device to keep larger items from going down the drain. Problem is, now I cant feed a bladder in. Bought a big socket type thing, that says its to remove this, but no matter how hard I twist, it wont come off, even tried penetrating oil, and a blow torch to try and loosen it..nothing !!! Any suggestions to getting this out, other than a saws all and cutting it out ?
If you get the bladder with the adapter like one I left linl in description to you dont need to remove cross piece. If need to get it out though, not sure if you got the socket that has the cross piece adapter, I'd try that one. It should come out unless its rusted on to metal. I got an old one off that had to be 50+ years before. Hmm. If get right socket could try it on an impact gun too, impact usually knocks things loose. Last resort would be cutting out

Hey, i have even used a plunger with co2 cartridges and nothing 😢
@@kitten113004 hope you get it. Keep trying different methods
