No timer. No electronics, this is a serious range that is designed for serious cooks. I replaced my Frigidaire Gallery gas range with this ZLINE - the oven quit working because the touch pad and electronic controls died. Under my extended warranty they were unable to repair it. Stay away from ranges with all the electronic bells and whistles, trouble waiting to happen. Buy a $10 timer instead.
hi bake is for faster heat recovery, if you fill the oven it will drop in temp, thats bad for bread etc. Hi bake recovers back up to desired temp very quickly. Its more useful for volume baking where the oven is full. You open the door to turn everything and the temp drops, thats when you need fast recovery. Its a good feature.
@@fordland08 ok sorry I rewatched it and at 2:40 into the video you said you got this from a website on a deal for some reason I was thinking you got a package deal
We will be getting the 36 inch version. I'm a retired baker/chef. The strong points are the absence of stupid electronic circuit boards which render many stoves into trash when the board fails. Also , the oven is wide enough for full size 24 x18 commercial sheet pans. Simple practical design, no bling such as timers or constant read thermometers, commercial equipment doesn't have any of those gadgets either.
One of the reasons I purchased it was for the lack of electronic fail points. I'm not much of a baker, so I probably would have done just fine with a gas oven- but this is not my forever home and I know it is more desired to have an electric oven.

How long is the warranty and what does it cover? I'm an independent service provider in the Camas, WA area via a contract Service Provider (New Leaf) and noticed about a dozen service companies turned down service calls for these units. So it might be prudent to buy an extended service contract. The oven looks great to me except the double oven is very very heavy.
Not sure, I bought it with as few digital or moving parts as possible. With the service and spec sheet available online I can pull the thing apart and do all the work myself. I guess if you do not understand basic electrical or gas operation you might need a warranty, but I for one have fixed the only issue I had which was a burner that stopped working. It simply needed to be cleaned.
@@fordland08 Hi there! Thank you for your comment! The warranty for ranges has a 1-year full warranty, which covers parts and service. After that, there is a lifetime warranty on flame spreaders, burners, and caps.
Update*** the igniter on one of the burners has failed. I will order and replace and make a video on that.
After watching this video I realized my unit is broken. 😂
Thanks for doing this video! Does it have a timer? And can you adjust the oven racks?

There is no timer, but you can easily adjust the racks. Just make sure to do it before firing up the oven lol
It’s so nice looking and very economical. I plan on getting a zline package deal. Maybe a 36 inch stove. Good luck with your purchase
I have been very happy, and I get a ton of compliments

Si the oven isn’t a gas oven correct?
Correct, they make them with gas ovens but I opted for electric.
