    I am actually waiting right on getting a real job to back me up before auditioning! Though I been building my way up for this career when I was still in school.Would I treat my life now as acting like persay how you would show up for an interview?

    Great Video today.
    I just got the results from my Acting teacher for my college's Spring Play, I have 4 small roles (1 small dialogues each).
    I got them, because I figured out that I am only able to read and remember small amount of lines and I need to read out loud to learn and remember more lines, better.
    Do you think I can become an Actor, by just starting from small dialogues and monologues to bigger ones?
    If yes, then I will keep on trying, even though, I will still do it, right now.

      Perhaps if you're concentrating more not to remembering the concrete lines, but to understanding the subject matter. You got to feel your character, understand her/him, know your character's motives and emotions and thinking patterns, you got to BE her/him. Then you can say words that are true to this character's nature you're playing, and yes, sometimes you have to improvise a bit, you don't always have to say lines exactly like they are written in the script, like their wording is. Lot of being the character and little bit of improvising with wordings can help a lot!😁

    Is it good to take dance classes so you're prepared for dance scenes, etc? 🕺

    • @TheActorsAcademy
      @TheActorsAcademy  26 днів тому +1

      It all depends on how often you are getting roles for a dancer. In general if you can dance and enjoy it, it has the possibility to present more options for different kinds of auditions

      @@TheActorsAcademy right , I was thinking a lot of rolls might require a short dance like at a wedding or something just for a quick shot, but at least you could learn the steps quicker
