I can't begin to thank you all enough for your incredibly emotional responses to this piece. Music has always been there for us as a comfort and a place to feel what we need to feel on deeper levels. All I can say is thank you for listening and taking the time to respond. I have a great many pieces written in this vein to eventually be released as "Bitter Suites: The Outlier Nocturnes". Stay tuned. ❤
Though i follow your wonderful work Mr. Timmons, sadly i seldom offer comments. But this is such a powerfully emotive song. It nearly brings me to tears in its melancholic beauty. It perfectly expresses longing, yearning, memories, regret as well as hope. It just goes to show that what matters is every note played perfectly. Though we all love the shredding, to put music to what is beyond words is a real gift. Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous piece.
Today is my 50th birthday. And no other music could relate to my life better than this song. So many emotions on this day. Miss my parents. The days brings me closer to meeting them on the other side. Love you Andy for bringing so much joy into my life❤
Man you have at least another 30 years to go. Enjoy. Don't waste your time worrying and wondering. Stay in shape by just doing a half hour a days worth of exercising. Eat a decent meal and you'll be fine.
I love the way Andy Timmons is ageing as a composer, as a guitarist... Brings so much finesse and zen to music. Real role model for us (not so young) guitarists.
My best friend just lost his battle with cancer at 53 years old. He was my guitar hero.. As soon as he passed, this song kept playing in my head. Andy the gift of music that you have is so powerful. God bless you...
This is sublime mate….I’ve been playing 40 years and would happily retire my strat playing days if I had a piece of music to my name as good as this. Exceptional buddy.
"A captivating performance and a composition full of warmth. Your guitar sounds incredible. I'm a huge fan of your melodies and that unique sound of yours, Andy. Please, keep creating music that touches the heart. Greetings from Chile, and I hope to meet you someday." "Una interpretación cautivadora y una composición llena de calidez. Tu guitarra suena increíble. Soy un gran admirador de tus melodías y de ese sonido tan único, Andy. Por favor, sigue creando música que llega directo al corazón. Saludos desde Chile, espero poder conocerte algún día."
This is truly one of the most beautiful guitar pieces I've ever heard. I teach guitar at a University, and this has been added to my teaching repertoire! So well done Andy!
Andy literally shut the internet down with this, in a world of endless technical shredding (which he can totally do), he literally did it with the first 4 notes, I was waiting to hear something that would inspire me to get to my roots on the guitar and this music made me shed a tear for the first time in years that that has happened, only some guitarists know this, but this is one of those times when you are writing and the soul decides it has to speak through the body and it’s amazing to let it all out
Damn it Andy... this is so beautiful I cry every time I listen to it. How will I ever learn to play it without getting my guitar wet?!?! :) Your feel is unbelievable. You are one of my VERY favorites!
I am in tears. I've been working on "Gone" and "The Prayer the Answer" for a couple of years now and although I can't play either well or all the way through, at times I've been able to experience the joy and release of expressing what's in my heart through the music that you have written. Love, loss, joy, grief, sadness, wonder, ecstasy, beauty, pain, sorrow, gratitude...Thank you Andy!
I just listen this in the pedal show and learn it just after, so beautiful, I initiate young children to music and when I played this song to my little students everybody was hypnotized by these notes !
I imagine this has been said - but it bears repeating: In some corner of the world - there’s a dood named Dan who is having a moment 😂 Love, love, love this!!
Just the way we wanted it. Exactly how we heard it the first time on TPS Thank you very much for this. The guitar is an extension of your higher spirit self 🙏🏻
The track that made Dan from That Pedal Show cry. I find music moves me - but this is on another level. The choice of notes, how each one is played - each and every one of them, the attention to the delay and reverb so that they are just right. I will never tire of listening to this.
No wonder Dan was crying after hearing You performing Your masterpiece. Deep and touching. Thank You for Your great music and just being who You are. Thank You.
Your soul is big as Universe itself. I am grateful to be your contemporary and for being able to listen and, above all, feel your great beautiful soul trough your music. Thank you Andy. 🙏
Thank you very much I am Polish and I am glad that you used the Polish name of our greatest Polish composer Fryderyk I invite you to Warsaw and Żelazowa Wola Where this extraordinary timeless musician was born
This is a piece that i can have in repeats for hours, never get tired. As a music lover but also as a guitar player, i always find something interesting and new in the nuances. And every single time i listen to it, it gives me the chills... simply beautiful, executed with so much feeling.
The first time i heard this on That Pedal Show, i was crying along with them. It was everything that is remembering those who are lost to us, for me my fiance who suddenly died one morning just a couple years ago. I had such a short time with her, but so filled with wonderful kindness and memories. For me, your song is what it's like remembering all that happiness i once had and the happiness I still feel thinking of her. Thank you for creating this beautiful song that is surely part of something incredibly special to you. ✌😌🎸
Andy, I just want you to know....this is one the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard! Dan was not the only one who cried when you played it for those TPS boys! I'll be there for your Birthday Bash at The Sanctuary!
Thank you so much for this beautiful "etude". Day 3 after discovering it i am able to play and understand this. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. Greetings from Germany
Such a perfect little 'etude' of a song... melody for days and it's just the right level of challenge to play. Pretty accessible / do-able for most players, but endless ceiling on what you can do with it emotively. And fairly easy to commit to memory too.
A drummer friend of mine once asked me, years ago, did I ever hear an instrumental piece of music that made me cry..... I laughed like a cavalier, stroked my moustache and eyed him with with mild contempt, "NEVER" I chortled aloud with bombast, at that moment he seemed like a weak little man to me, sensitive and fragile.... however, I now bow my head and look upon the tears that gather at my feet, for when I hear Andy strum this beautiful tune upon his guitar... I weep, I weep... I weep.
God Andy, your heart is as big as Texas, and it shows every time you pick up that guitar. You have the most beautiful tone and dynamic feel in your music. Emotion: The distance between two frets.
I started to learn this song as soon as I first heard it on tps. While I was in the process my cat, one of the most important things in my life at the time, passed away unexpectedly. So I finished learning it and played it at his little graveside in my backyard. This song means a lot to me.
Thanks for sharing this Ben...I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm humbled this piece of music may have served you in a positive way at a dark time. Keep playing! ❤
Sin duda alguna muy pocos guitarristas tienen ese sentido de poder trasmitir lo que estan tocando, es un tema muy bonito que te llega hasta el alma! Bautiful ❤
I'm following your playing since the DD days. I bought the first solo album back in the 90s and I always loved your sound and phrasing. This is one of the most beautiful compositions ever. I have goosebumps all my body everytime I hear this song. Thanks for your inspiration and amazing guitar playing throughout the years. Greetings from Germany.
Andy, you have always been tuned into something that most people will never experience. Music is a gift and you continue to recieve and give 100% of your gift to us. Thank you for sharing and continuing to inspire us with your music & playing.

So beautiful that I'm in tears right now
Thank you for sharing this melody with us
Can’t wait Andy.
My god, this is one to the most beautiful things I have ever heard.
Goosebumps
Andy... Thanks to you for the love that you send every time when we see you playing music. Keep feeding ours souls... love❤
Sublime. “Simplicity is the final achievement “ -Chopin
"Less is more".Albert King ..But Art is a mystery (more or less!)
After hearing this on TPS and seeing Dan react to it, the echoes of this melody haunt me. Truly beautiful.
Me too. I only just saw the TPS episode yday and I cannot get this melody out of my head. Transcendental isn't an exaggeration to describe it.
Ditto!

Thanks s much Josh, that means a lot ❤
DIDDO!!! Andy's been known to evoke that response! Poor Dan, lol!! Understandable though. Beautiful!
This is one of the most soulful, touching and beautiful guitar performances I have ever heard.
Thank you!
Ustam o elleri öperim!
Definitely a feel of Where Were You by Jeff Beck on this. Which is obviously a huge compliment to Andy!
Today is my 50th birthday. And no other music could relate to my life better than this song. So many emotions on this day. Miss my parents. The days brings me closer to meeting them on the other side.
Love you Andy for bringing so much joy into my life❤
Happy Birthday. They are always with you

I've tried to learn this song 3 times now and halfway through I just catch myself simply listening. This piece transcends music.
Tim Pierce did a video showing how to play, along with tabs on screen.
Good thing UA-cam videos don't wear out like old cassettes because this one would be in danger lol. Amazing work!
Whenever I feel sad, feeling lost, I came here, cry as much as I want
Hang in there. Someone out there loves you.
Beautiful music. You can tell by the reaction that this is the prettiest song many have heard in years.
One of the most beautiful pieces of guitar music I've heard. I can fully understand how it makes grown men cry! 👌
My best friend just lost his battle with cancer at 53 years old. He was my guitar hero.. As soon as he passed, this song kept playing in my head. Andy the gift of music that you have is so powerful. God bless you...
Nice... real nice.

I’ve loved this incredible music - ever since it made Dan cry… Thank you Andy.
It seems like the world 🌎 could use much more of this right now ❤️🙏🤘
The song that made Dan (TPS) cry! Very emotional! Andy, you are a point of reference for the worldwide guitar movement.
That is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard
God level!! Please come to Argentina!!
I’m a pretty jaded fella…but the first time I heard this piece…I did shed a tear. Simply beautiful, sir. Thank you.
Damn it Andy... this is so beautiful I cry every time I listen to it. How will I ever learn to play it without getting my guitar wet?!?! :) Your feel is unbelievable. You are one of my VERY favorites!
Beautiful ,thank
That delay sound is awesome
Nice to see the track that made Dan cry appear! :) Thanks Andy
I am in tears. It moves me so much that i put in my playlist "in loving memory of my deceased wife". Love from the Netherlands.
Dear God man, that's so beautiful. Dan's not the only one who cries when he hears it. I must have listened 50 times and it still brings a tear.
I just listen this in the pedal show and learn it just after, so beautiful, I initiate young children to music and when I played this song to my little students everybody was hypnotized by these notes !
Every note is nuanced. Nobody plays like Andy Timmons. Thanks for bring beauty and light to the dark world we currently live in.
Absolutely stunning!! Well said Josh Ellyson...."On Your Way Sweet Soul" is another great one by Andy.
Chopin was a master of his craft and so are you Andy. Beautiful rendition of an emotional piece of music
I imagine this has been said - but it bears repeating:
In some corner of the world - there’s a dood named Dan who is having a moment
😂
Love, love, love this!!
Just the way we wanted it. Exactly how we heard it the first time on TPS
Thank you very much for this.
The guitar is an extension of your higher spirit self 🙏🏻
Andy, the beauty and emotion this song expresses always causes me to hold my breath. Thank you, my friend.
I covered this song as soon as I heard it on that Pedal show.. Instantly loved it.. What a masterpiece. I hope to meet you one day Andy!

Much appreciated Steve ❤
Emotional perfection! Stunning in its expression and simplicity. This piece of Andy’s musical genius is eternal!

WOW... ANYONE WHO CAN HEAR THAT AND NOT FEEL SOMETHING IS DEAD INSIDE. REALLY BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU ANDY
Finally it's here❤️🎉🌿
PERFECTION.
Awesome Sound ❤❤❤
most beautiful!
I love Steve Vai and Satch so much, but you tone and ballads are from out of this world....best tone in guitar world!
Mesmerizing as the first time I heard it on the pedal show. One of the best things I have and will ever hear in my life! Thank you Mr. Timmons.
Here is a man, with his guitar, and the ability to look at the notes. What a piece of music!
Still the absolute king of tone! 🥲
Beautiful beyond words!
I have goosebumps from hearing that. Beautiful work!
Your soul is big as Universe itself. I am grateful to be your contemporary and for being able to listen and, above all, feel your great beautiful soul trough your music. Thank you Andy. 🙏
Emotional tone,, mr andy you are so special
I injured my wrist playing this (or at least attempting to) over and over because I resonated with it that much. Worth it.
Breathtaking. What an incredibly beautiful piece of music and performance.
So touching! It reminds me much of the emotion Jeff Beck had on E&C tunes. Look forward for more.
Absolutely wonderful Andy. We are blessed to hear it
I love Andy ! ❤❤❤
❤❤❤ The kind of music that helps you connect with yourself. ❤❤❤
Just exquisite arrangement, incredible feeling and emotion in the playing makes this a mini masterpiece IMHO 👏👏👏👏👏
Speechless!
Simplicity and perfection.

Какой красавец! Очень тонкая и гормоничная тема ,,,цепляет за душу! Нашел чувак струнки души !
I seen this on The Pedal Show. I was wondering if there was a full composition of this. I'm saving this. BEAUTIFUL!!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Perfekt

That was Angelic ! ThX Bro. ! ✌🎸
Just Beautiful
The song that made Dan cry on the Pedal Show. :) Great performance.
God Andy, your heart is as big as Texas, and it shows every time you pick up that guitar. You have the most beautiful tone and dynamic feel in your music. Emotion: The distance between two frets.
Master of feeling always touching our souls!! 🤘🏼🎸
Like a fine wine, very tasteful and refreshing. Just beautiful Andy, thank you.
I've heard of Andy, via Ibanez, but never listened to. I was expecting ANOTHER shredder. A pleasant surprise, you are. Nice playing.
Such lovely vibes. I cried a lot and needed to learn it immediately. Thank you man ❤
