      William Smith they are pretty equal actually if you listen to both of a lot of their music.
      Plus Andy uses a modern Ibanez with bloody DiMarzios in it and a modern amp

    • @joshmuz9018
      @joshmuz9018 5 років тому +4

      William Smith hence the reason for your poorly constructed and overly opinionated argument. A man scientifically loses the capacity of two thirds of his brain when he is angry and you sir have adequately displayed that.
      Andy Timmons is one of the most highly respected and gifted guitarists of the past twenty years.
      Steve vai, satriani, govan and many others have cited his abilities and influence on their playing, if you haven’t heard much of Andy music and just formed an opinion that’s your own shortcoming in mankind sound judgments.
      Andy is as good as Eric in every way and few would deny that, his tone is not as on par- as you were describing this to be a tonal issue, and I quote” Eric Johnson is the TONE monster”. Is Eric is using a 1957 start into a vintage twin and plexus with vintage fuzz, tube driver and memory man delay.
      Andy is using a modern guitar, modern lone star amp, modern tubescreamer and pedals and his tone is absolutely superb when he has a disadvantage in the gear he is using to Eric’s. But shit I’m not standing around all day defending who is better, each to his own man.
      Perhaps scroll the comments section and see that nearly all who watched this video like yourself are commenting on Andy’s amazing playing and TONE, I guess they are all wrong and you are right. Could you please direct me to some of your brilliant recordings to listen to maestro?

    This song has changed my perception of life and my entire approach to expressing myself on the guitar. His playing is such an inspiration and challenges everyone to aspire for greatness. Don't you think $ 360 per year is quite a lot of subscription fee? I think Andy is a guitarist like no other and his work deserves the best. And I will always be willing to play like him.

    This is the first time I've listened to Andy. I was missing out. Some beautiful melodic playing there. Wish I heard him 20 years ago but it's never too late to gain appreciation for an excellent musician.

    When the album was released, I didn't think I'd think this is one of the best songs of Andy, if not the best. The song grew on me within time. This is his magnum opus

    As a lifelong guitarist, comparing him to one of my idols, I’ve never said this about anyone, but he is probably the only dude I’ve heard that can put so much passion and feeling in so few notes as David Gilmore.. 🤘🏻🙏🏻

    Andy timmons is a lot of inspiration.
    It’s not about playing well.
    but to touch people with their sound.
