This video gonna save my life, just blew out my 10-spline on my t56. Going with the 26 spline now. Had no idea it was this easy, I was thinking the internals would have to come out or something!
Sorry for commenting a lot but I’m just preparing myself for a coyote swap . Seeing that you have to buy a lot of different stuff for the mt82 to work I just want to upgrade to a t56 while I’m at it . My car is a 96 v6 model . What all would I need to swap in the coyote with it . The coyote t56 bell housing . Different clutch and pressure plate make sure I get the adjustable pivot ball and cross member ?
For a cobra t56 you will need the bell housing it comes with if you don’t have it you will need a quick time bell housing . Also if it’s a cobra t56 then you will need a cobra aluminum drive shaft as well as a cobra pinion flange . Depending on the input shaft you can use 4.6/5.0 clutch all depends on what you want . Also if you decide to get a t56 magnum you will need either a cobra t56 bell housing it works on both transmissions but more then likely you will need the quick time bell housing as the cobra t56 ones are hard to find. With the t56 magnum you will need a custom drive shaft many people take measurements from tail shaft to pinion and place order orrrr you can just order a ready to go kit from lethal performance ! Thanks bro don’t worry everyone’s got questions 🤘🏼
@@xJD2Vx ended up winning a auction on a gem 3 with a auto . So just gonna upgrade to a magnum while I’m at it . Does the t56 work with regular master cylinder & reservoir? And do I have to be prepared for the wiring to it or with manual control pack I don’t have to worry about any wiring to the t56 mag . I appreciate you answering my questions man . Glad you saved the coyote before it was to late 🔥
Basically we pick it up as much as we can with a regular jack and then we bolt up a chain from where the sway bar mounts on both sides and we used the cherry picker to pull the car up from the chain.

Nagh man it’s pretty simple! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
You have to shim it for side to side employ to preload the bearings. Look it up on UA-cam there’s tutorials.
Good luck on the build and koodos to your pops... you should get a video of him driving it..
Daniel Lopez thanks man and yeah dude my dad is the best. I’m really blessed to have him as my dad. For sure he will drive the car no doubt

I didn’t see you use a dial indicator to measure shaft play, any shims added?
Steve Slavik there was the perfect amount of play should be good man but we’ll see 🤘🏼 thanks for watching
is this the same procedure on a 3650? or close to
No they are completely different
I wanna know how u jacked that car so high I gotta change my shaft as well

Omar 2V thanks for watching man ! 🙏🏼
