I thought you're supposed to remove the shim and bolt it together and check end play and shim accordingly. How can you tell what shim thickness you need if you leave the old shim in it and it has too much preload?

Todd what size long tube kooks headers are those? Are they a direct fit?

Did the input shaft require a shim? The video seems to skip over that.
