Gibson scale length is 24.75", the other Schecters you had are 25.5" (not 24.5" and 25").

c-1 doesn't have an armrest, does it affect the gameplay?

I have been playing a mim tele for 3 years, and once I sold it, I really missed the tight feeling of a wood slab squeezed firmly under my arm.
So, my personal experience is that it’s not a huge deal and actually makes it more carefree when sitting down. And I don’t find it to be a problem when I do palm mute, I think it’s not too much related to armrest (as long as the body isn’t too deep like an acoustic) and more about the bridge construction.
However, I would fancy a belly curve or chest curve just because the guitar would lean on one of your breasts which hurts easier than your arm.
