Man, the Mirage was the greatest. I still remember getting it when Hills was still around. Good ol'days
This is sooo awesome. As a kid I had Copper Kid, the cowboy and the ship. I totally forgot that the buttons on the side spread their wings. I do remember a few of the things I wish I'd had from the commercials, including a couple of the characters and the ship that would spread its wings.
that Flashback episode is so so good. When he's being shown their destruction on a video tape, then goes back to save them, and than HE (Flashback) ends up on the video tape?!?! genius
Never got into SilverHawks, but they are cool.
Loved that show! Had Quick Silver, Bluegrass and Copper Kid. So underrated!
I remember going into Kay Bee's toy store and seeing the Silverhawks on the shelves. It was $10 or so for Quick Silver, I remember. I didn't try to get a lot of Silverhawks, but I loved the show. The shoulder lasers fascinated me. On the way back to class from the lunchroom in 5th grade, I shot clocks, posters, locker locks and all kinds of things with my shoulder lasers.

Loved Silverhawks back in the day. Fun cartoon, awesome looking action figures. I just picked up a Super7 Steelheart. My 1st Super7. I am pleasantly surprised.
Man that takes me back, never was able to get the copper kid, it never stayed on the shelves long. It would be awesome to actually walk through your museum, seeing the COPS still on their card was great
I loved this show. Had Quicksilver, Cooper Kid, and Flashback. Would have loved to have the Mirage.
Always love a visit to the Toy Museum.
I remember getting these at Ollie's as a kid towards the end of the run. Still trying to hunt down a few of the later releases. Great video.

you have brought joy to my heart seeing these toys of my childhood in so good shape, although flashback always was my favourite, but wish that they make the whole body in green metallic chrome paint

I had quite a few of these but unfortunately they didn't survive very well. Missing pieces and really bad chipping. Now cost a fortune to replace/ relive. Best show intro ever for me

I had the whole first wave of these except the vehicles, as a Thundercats fan I was big into this property. Loved them, my Quicksilver has barely any chrome left though the others are OK. I think Backlash is supposed to be used as handcuffs, and Mumbo Jumbo's bird can be used as a hammer.
My childhood memories all in 20 minutes.

This was great, Michael! I mostly overlooked Silverhawks back in the day because I had started noticing girls but I’ve been going back and researching and have developed a nice appreciation for them.
WOW!! Those were some great looking figures!! I love the way the older characters look with the street clothes compared to the current Silverhawks. Though no doubt, the chrome effect is what makes these shine, literally. And their right there for you to just pickup he have some interstellar adventures!! Silver Hawks are awesome
Great video Mike. Actually I liked the Hawks more than the Cats but too bad the writing wasn't better. Loved the concept, their looks, but never owned any. By the time it came out my Dad thought I was getting too old for toys, 15/16, but continued w/ Legos and when I couldn't buy my own Hawks or Transformers I'd build my own. But this reminded me of how back then I tried to find out how to submit ideas for new wave/season and created 5 new Hawks and 5 new associates of the Mob, one being a traitor to the Hawk and a brother to one of my creations, and what would have been a huge new vehicle that was composed of three vehicles. I have to dig out my old notebook, never threw anything out.

Excellent look at the figures Michael. I had a few of the figures and loved their gimmicks. I loved how the wing gimmick transcended Silverhawks and showed up in other Kenner lines. Wasn't there a spinning Batman at one point as well as the quick wing Batman? Like my Thundercats figures, I didn't play with them for very long. I ended up folding the villains and bird accessories into my adventures with Superman and Batman.

picked up a bluegrass but no accessories still waiting for the super 7 preorders since I never had quicksilver or any of them back then.
I have them all packed unopen, thanks for showing them to me lol, Only had a partial collection as a kid, I remember it broke my had I never see them at the stores past 1988. Can't wait for Super 7 reboot tho!

I had the giant red attack bird as a kid. I guess that was the bad guy's big bird? My brother had the good guy's big bird. Kicking myself for not holding on to all my toys. Had some good ones.
Watching this video almost makes me wish my Silverhawks were loose & not MOC so I could actually handle & play with them like when I was a kid. Another great video Michael. Silverhawks rock!

I forgot that Blue Grass had the Bird named, Side Man. I always called it Hot Licks as a kid.
Hot Licks is his first guitar on the show that didn't change into a bird. Sideman is the bird/guitar. It was reversed for the toys though. The 1st figure came with Sideman and the second Ultrasonic figure came with Hot Licks.

I loved "eye damage" missiles. I was so annoyed that the never made Monstars giant squid that a sent a toy design and a letter to the toy company. They replied that they can not take submissions. I wonder if they knew I was a kid or not?

The figures weren't very good as far as articulation and and if played with the paint wears off but they look amazing on display
Man had the 2011 Thundercats not been cancelled I bet they rebooted SILVERHAWKS especially since Monstar was shown N mentioned. In sense that reboot had the Multiverse way b4 Marvel did. Love Copper Kid.
