not saying he could kill anyone as one bullet can drop any man hit in the right place, however special forces are special forces for a reason, they are the best at what they do, and val riazanov is considered one of the few experts in systema chances are he could take the majority of people who would face him
Awesome video Val! Just a quick question. You always make these techniques look easy and do them with such fluency, it's really impressive. Does your large build have anything to do with that? Or is it all technique?
If somebody approached me with a knife in the street, I'd probably try to run. In a fighting situation however, I'd try to kick them before they could thrust the knife towards me. I swear most martial arts (as I've seen here, my previous lessons of Wing Chun and other martial arts I've seen online) wait for the attacker to attack with a knife
Agree with Kellogsz. Who in their right mind would not stop a knife hand or control it? Like I would use back of my hand. I would palm the knife hand. What a bad trainer. And the uppercut in this vid is elementary. People got to understand open palm is better to under throat. I can't believe how amature these techniques are and still being taught.
i disagree with the knive defenses. 1.50 wth is that knive attack, please look how he is stabbing or swinging and where he holds his other hand.. plus you block it with the back of your hand/arm, he can still cut you even if you punched him. you want to block and grab his wrist so he cant swing with his knive again. im at blue belt taekwondo where they put their eyes on self defence, and the stuff i see on this video are just nonsence.
shared !
