Your catapult video was the best from a few years ago. I practiced that for the summer and added 40 yards to my drives and totally straight, no curve either way. Lag is automatic. Keeping the triangle in front of me at all times was the key to success. Maybe you could redo that concept in updated video Thanks.
What is so nice about this drill is your open the RIGHT AMOUNT through impact because the hands can’t get past the ball without this and the release gets anchored by the head staying back and that is because you are locked in to the direction you are pointing the jack knife, VERY PRECISE DRILL! Next week you will see it on our premium channel from both camera angles!
another great vid! Recently swithced to a baseball (due to pinky injury) and loving it! Any comment on the grip (eq strong), etc with this switch? TIA,
If you are me, almost toe up, and if you are Savy more towards the ground. In other words, the one that allows the ball to fly the way you want it to! 😀👍
If the miss with my irons is a weakish fade what drill fixes that? It will feel like I have flushed the ball then it fades 30 yards and loses 1 to 2 clubs of distance
Definitely want to give it a try!! I was hoping to see some ‘face on’ shots. My hands, arms, and shaft always seem to have straightened out before getting to the ball. Sigh 😞 Thanks
Irons are in front, driver is about even with the ball as we are hitting up on it slightly and woods and long irons are in between. The flight plan plays a big role in how much.
With driver if I close the face at address and take the path with you hands slightly less would that be the optimal way to hit straight and compress the ball at the same time?
Used the heave-pause-heave tip yesterday. Got at least 10-15 yds extra distance with the driver. Boy did I feel it afterwards in my ribs and legs - but well worth it 👍⛳️
What’s missing here is you’re not saying at what point you’re releasing the club, anyone pulling their hands that far ahead will be so late with an open face and slice off the planet.
The head anchors the release! Notice the trail foot staying on the ground well past impact like Finau and Rahm? See also the “square the club shawn clement” video on youtube and it’s all the “release” videos on our premium especially the “important release update” video!👍😀

Great idea!👍😀
Awesome drill can’t wait to try it makes so much sense
You are working very hard for all of us there. 👍🏻
Can we combine the club throwing drill with this?
Quadzilla! good job Sav
You’re so nice and open at impact. Great video. And thanks for posting

Nice drills, could you please track the ball flight in future?

Make sure you see the “most important video on grip ever shawn clement” which on our premium channel would be “important grip update”
Go Sav!
Nice job
Shawn, I understand the shaft is pointed in the direction you want to go. Is the toe straight up or pointed a little to the ground? Thanks.

Got it, can’t wait to try this on the course. Thanks!
Do you have any advice for barrel shape golfers who struggle getting the right arm in front of

Go to the “important release update” on premium! Also, this drill will expose how deep the grip needs to be to keep the ball online!
Grip is to weak and ur setup needs tweaking. See ben hogans feet diagram for the different clubs and tighten ur grip.

The face on view will be live on my Premium website next week!
Great video Shawn. May I ask a small question? By the time of impact with the driver, are the hands in front of the ball?

@@golflessons thanks a lot
I'll try it right away

@@thefishnmusician9667 yes! Nice straight fade or power fade! 😀👍
@@golflessons slightly less should have been slightly left. Does that change your answer?
"Man, I wish you could see that!" You and me both. Do you have a tracer on the premium channel?
We have a tracer on many videos on premium! 👍👍

Nice! Way to go! 👌👊👍😀
You need a launch ball monitor so we can see the ball flight.
hmm shot tracer needed
Interesting. You hit a baseball left handed, but a golf ball right handed? Don't think I've seen that before.

Confusing that this video starts with how to draw and fade rather than lag.
I'd like to push back on your baseball swing explanation. This is not the way that Judge nor Ohtani hit balls. See teacherman hitting to explain it.
