well that was not as juicy as i had hoped for
I think Cyndi's participation was not utilized well. She was there in line with other voices ... sticking her in a pool of voices that all clashed together to sound like a chorus. If you are an artist; especially one that is currently fighting for space in the top ten .. and your team says: "Cyndi Lauper is going to perform with you.." A. Tell your team not to look for others to join; you embrace this once in a lifetime moment. B. Tell your team to create a special segment for Cyn that is best suited for the message being sent. I mentioned this before on another posting...they should have had Cyn at the end .. up where the "band" was and have the light shine on down on a silhouette (that of course being Cyndi) and have her appear with Dulcimer on her lap strumming the chords to True Colors and dedicate 2 minutes of singing the song to not only Kesha but to the message. Letting Cyndi belt out "Don't be Afraid!!" and cup it with the innocence of "..to let them show, your true colors, true colors....are beautiful ... like a Rainbow.." that would have killed the performance and put Kesha on a much higher wave...and Cyndi would have received a much deserved standing ovation.

Sisterhood is a important thing for sure,but you should check on the thing on her to help others not just promoting herself,cuz'r that was oversell.
