After Show: Why Rod Stewart Called A Witch Doctor | WWHL - Розваги
Cyndi has to be one of the most underrated artist ever ❤️
Cindy is such a great artist and woman. Adorable human being indeed.
Rod really gets a kick out of Cyndi on this comment @2:34 😂😂
Rod Stewart goes down as one of the finest concerts I’ve ever attended.
I've loved Cyndi and Rod since the 80's and it is incredible to see what awesome people they are. Andy brings out an authenticity in his guests.
Two LEGENDS I can only imagine the stories that are told backstage. To be a fly on the wall!
Wow! Cyndi & Rod. Two legends! 💕
This is nostalgia at its highest. They represent an era of class, fun and authenticity. I miss these times so much 💜
Just really miss that emphasis on sincerity and original sound that was so important prior to the 1990s and rise of marketing people dictating music decisions.
h d sad and true my friend 💔
Summer time i agree!
Saw this show at the Hollywood Bowl! Fantastic!
Who cares if Andy likes to party it up with his guests; if it gives us this kinda open and frank discussion, keep it up. I love these two, I could listen for hours.
They both are a riot!! Such good humor!!
I love Rod's "I could give a fu*k attitude"...
These two are the REAL deal I love ❤️ em both beyond the moon!!!!!!!! I’ve been so lucky to see them both live!!!!!!! Wowza they are magic on stage!!!!!!!!
Omg these two together are pure classic.
This is at the top, of the best interviews I’ve ever witnessed! They, both, seem like genuinely nice people. I appreciate that Rod wouldn’t name the celebrity he hooked up with - that’s decent! Cyndi seems sweet.
Yes. And I both wanted to hear the celebrity hookup and was pleased he refused.
I freaking love Rod Stewart. He's just such a personality & all time great entertainer. He's awesome on this show❤
MSL5 Have you read his autobiography? It is stellar. He is honest and you end up respecting him more for it. He admits to every infidelity.
Maye McDonald I haven't! Thanks for the tip💋
Pure class and talent, period!
👏🏻😉
God these guys are fantastic im cracking up over here!
I love them both! ♥️♥️ Rod is hilarious! 😅😂🤣 He’ll be Forever Young. 😍😊😍
Two kooky legends! Musical genius,
Rod and Cyndi need a talk show. The duo I never knew I needed.
it was today...june 14th, 2020, that i realized rod stewart was english and had an accent! i literally have never heard him speak until now and I AM FLOORED!
Scottish
Great interview , sooooo enjoyable !!!
I love this @8:56, they are such good buds...I love it!
That's was music in the 70's 80's and 90's .I love you guys xxx
I was at the Seattle show where she opened for Cher! It was great. She rolled around on the ground shining a flashlight on herself during true colors. It was so weird and great.
kika baa Haha I can totally picture that...showing *her true colors* no doubt. She's awesome!
I saw the same show at MSG/NYC & I was disappointed. Her voice was shrill & nerve grating. So many left for the concession stands for a 10$ pretzel. But Cher was fabulous.
Why are they still on top? Because they are genuine, down to earth passionate and old fashioned. Absolutely fantastic
This is fun watching these two great artists.
That was brilliant! Rod and Cindy are the real deal and insanely talented. I could listen to em for months on end❤
Two gifted people. Thank You A. What a joy to watch.
2021 these two I can say without ever meeting them one can feel they ARE genuinely nice people. : ) LOVE THESE TWO 💙💛
Never knew Cyndi talked like an extra in a Scorcese movie.
She's so great! She should do cameos more, I'd looove to see her in broad city or somethin
Omg I love that she still has her accent
TWO GREAT LIVING LEGENDS
ROD STEWART & CYNDI LAUPER 👏🏼 .....
Rod is a humble ROCK star. Still has the GREAT hair 😎
Saw them last summer, Rod kicked soccer balls into the crowd while singing Maggie May, he never stopped! Excellent show and he's in great shape!
Even his hair is in great shape!
Their lack of Grammies is not shocking to me, the competition doing their time was fierce. Their in great company of amazing legends that's astounding to have three with the people they where up against. I rather lose to legends then bums.
her 90's work was completely snubbed...even by radio. The material could have easily competed still with Madonna and Mariah ...
To me Cindy is the definition of early 90’s and I was born in 92.
2 mega legends! Thank you!
Best interview ever!
I went to see Rod in Glasgow in the 80's. We were all pissed, so we got on a train from Carlisle where we lived to Glasgow. Rod will know where I'm on about. Carlisle is about 100 miles from Glasgow. So we enjoyed Rod's concert, continuing getting drunker. Afterwards we boarded a train back home to Carlisle. Unfortunately, we all fell asleep and woke up having missed our stop at Carlisle and were in Lancaster, which is about 100 miles from Carlisle. We all piled off the train and asked a train guard when was the next train to Carlisle? He pointed at a train about to set off. So we ran and got on it. The train guard was shouting something, but we ignored him.
So off we went, as the train was approaching Carlisle, we started getting our stuff together, only to notice the train wasn't slowing down. It didn't stop, just flew through Carlisle, we asked another passenger why it hadn't stopped at Carlisle, and she said it was an express, and took us all back to Glasgow! We were hungover, skint and my mate had to beg her dad to come for us. Nightmare. But Rod was great.
I could watch them the whole day long! So many interessting stories to tell
pinkgilmoregirl Yes! This needed to be one of those special 30 minute After Shows (like SJP.)
I remember her opening for Cher in Washington DC. She was right it was amazing. She sang true colors it was emotionally moving ❤️
He's so surprised that she said washing machine even after he said GRAVEYARD? Haha
Being a teenager in the 1970s Rod got a bad rap with teenage guys but Rods early solo albums + The Faces records. He is one of the greatest rock singers of all time.
I need them to be my parents. And only three Grammys between the two of them? That show's a sham.
Cesar Porro not really they had a lot of great contenders doing their hay day. Those 3 grammies are just go look at their competition you'll understand.
I recall reading somewhere that Elton John, The Stones, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Led Zeppelin never won any grammys.
Well look at how the Grammy snubbed mariah carey also
@@daveveda20 Queen never won a grammy.. So.. Yet Beyonce has 22. I love her she is great but honestly...
@@ArchdukeOfBelgrade Did George Michael ever win a grammy I may have to look he has not been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yet I am torn there they need him more than he needs them but I do think he has earned it and would love to see his friends Andy induct him and tell the haters to stick it LOL on the other hand why wait to induct him after he died he has been eligible since 2012 and he was not even on the list of people to vote or till 2020 and some fans have been pushing hard since 2017 why not before was he never considered or even suggested why was he not considered when he was around to accept it I just hope he would be happy we thought of him not sure of his opinions on the Rock Hall of Fame but as far as the music he earned it and deserves way more than some (Elton Judas John) I call him this for his betrayal after George was taken from us
Have always loved Cyndi Lauper...Talented and seems to be a sweet person!!!!!
This was really interesting to listen to. Thanks. Much love to both of them.
After watching the documentary I have to admit that Cindy killed it. She almost blew up the microphone with her power. I love how her NY accent comes thru in her singing. I wish she would have also mentioned how great Huey Lewis was.
dear Sir Rod you’re amazing & so loveable ❤️❤️❤️
Cyndi, AIDS Walk DC, on the National Mall, I forget the year, but violin, guitar, and your voice, Time after Time, in three part counterpoint... best performance ever. I was the one crying.
OMG THESE TWO ARE SO GOOD
Rod is the bomb x Love him xxxxxx
Andy...I’ve been jealous of you, SO MANY TIMES....but this interview has turned me permanently green! You must have had a blast doing this!
Wow a great duo onstage and off. Loved this interview.
I love Cyndi Lauper, she is the best!!!
There is probably no one I enjoy hearing talk more than I enjoy Cyndi
I love Cyndi...such grace and humility...what a class act!
Rod has played to the largest crowd ever, and on top of it, a few babies were actually born at his show. That's legendary.
Love the song Drove all night!
Wow! Funny that this video appeared, just 5 days after I saw these two perform live in Melbourne, Australia on the 14/03/2023.
They are adorable
Finally you have on some decent guest.
Love both of them 💗 💓 💕 😊😊
She beat COREY HART, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Sheila E and the Judd's to win her best new artist grammy .
not too hard to beat those. But Sheila E does wail on the drums.
exactly what the person said.. 3grammies between the two of you..do these judges really know what the popular and the artist vote...I'm cringing. love you so much Cindy Lauper...Rod you rock too..lol..❤✌❤..
2 legends
you & Cyndy are so loveable ❤️❤️
OMG they are HILARIOUS!
They both look great
Cyndi looks amazing -- not all plastic surgeoned up and what not.
Saw them together in Dallas in August.
Do not miss.
Love these two ,checking dates now had, no idea the were touring together .
I bought Cyndi music video anthology on vhs and discovered Sally's pegions...beautiful ballad...saw Cher in concert just because Cyndi opened, such a fan of her talent and quirky cute swagger
great stuff rod and cindy!
Absolute favs🤘🏽⚡️
Best Episode, hands down.
Freaking love Cyndi - always have!
She is Great! I love her❤
Amazing amazing guest❤❤❤❤
Legends
❤Tonight I am yours time after time ❤ AWESOME 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 😎 🥰 💞
Legends! Can't wait to see them in San Diego! And I know the bartender from the zoo! Cyndi looks amazing!
Rod is a complete artist
Two of my top five favorite artist toured together and I missed it! Where was I???
Ugh Rod is playing Vancouver again this year and, because I'm a broke student, I have no chance of going. Would be phenomenal though - my dad has amazing tales of the Small Faces playing Van back in the day. Since grade 5 (1999) I loved the Unplugged album but even more recently loved watching the video of this session - I had no idea Ronnie Wood was playing with him!
I agree...ask your parents. You might not get a chance again. Ronnie and Rod are not twenty anymore. I pray you go and see these legends!
MissIToldYou Sooo & Maye McDonald Thank you! I totally could ask my parents...but I'm nearly 30 so it doesn't feel quite right considering I am super budget conscious and couldn't rationally ask for/accept money from them unless it was for basic needs like bills etc. Honestly, my dream would be to go to the concert with my dad...he loves to relive his youth (he flew over and we went to the Roger Waters concert in the fall) and I wouldn't want to see a concert alone. I'm sure my parents would pay for it because they are always worried I spend too much time working/studying but I couldn't rationalize spending money on a concert when I could put it on my bills haha.
MissIToldYou Sooo Great ideas! I did mention the concert via text to him yesterday and he just replied a few minutes ago that he is taking my mom to Alice Cooper (not his fave, but my mom is a big fan...cute they are having a date 30+ years into their marriage
vibes was awesome i have seen it so many time love ya cyndi
I love Cyndi❤ She's so natural
The "Working Girl" musical sounds awesome. It's one of my favorite movies. I can't wait to see what Cyndi comes up with.
Every artist or major band who intend to break all public attendance records should go to Rio! Greetings from Brazil.
"Otherworldly" love it. Thanks for not saying "surreal"
Legends! Fkn Cyndi hasnt aged at all!!!!!
Andy doesn't even need to be there lol they don't need him haha!!!
In the thumbnail I thought Rod was judge Judy
YESS BRAZIL!!
Cyndi = harley Quin!
The Grammy competition for Best New Artist of 1984 was: Frankie Goes to Hollywood / Corey Hart / Sheila E. / The Judds / Cyndi Lauper
MON THE HOOPS Rod !!
💚💛💚
cyndi is just so cute and funny!
Ilove you somuch miss
😂❤❤❤
I hate when they cut these interviews up just post the whole friggin thing already
