Cyndi Lauper means a lot to me. She was my daughter's FAVORITE singer, especially the "Girls just want to have fun song." My daughter was 10 yrs old at the time. Sadly my daughter passed away suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 33yrs. When I hear Cyndi Lauper sing, I close my eyes and remember the fun-fun times that I had watching my daughter dance around and pretend to sing like Cyndi. thank you Jimmy Kimmel for having Cyndi on your show this evening, enjoyed it very much.

Wear my hair the way I want, and my makeup according to how I feel that day. Be yourself unapologetically. Own your look, and walk with confidence anywhere you go. Fashion is so hilarious that people will soon be wearing your look, anyway. I'm a rocker chick, too. My hair is still down to my tail bone at 51. I'm judged for my hair being so long for my age. The most cringeworthy thing you can say about a woman. We don't say that about men. Why? Because the presumption is that mature woman=not attractive, and yet society claims men get more attractive with age.

We Are The World is a fantastic song.Cyndi Lauper really killed her part. After she took off those damn bracelets. I think she got it on the third or 4th take. Michael was gasping on the side.

Cyndi is one of my favorites. I still have my She's So Unusual album(my brother-in-law gave it to me). When I taught kindergarten our theme for graduation was True Colors(with a little word change). When I wear my "Girls Just Wanna Have Funds" shirt guys take notice and smile.

"Girls Just Want To Have Fun" hit the radio when I was 10 years old. Wow, this gal sounded punchy, looked bold, and impressed me at a young age. I sang that song on the playground at school, it then followed me though years of growth, whims, experiments, and both good and bad life experiences. When I hear that song now (at age 51) I taste a few sweet kisses of that playground/childhood energy. I still enjoy (and sing along with) most of Cyndi's popular songs, and I look forward to seeing this farewell concert. I will probably cry some while there, but in a good way.

I've loved Cyndi since I first her when I was about 8 years old. I've sang her songs and I think she has an amazing voice! I have all her albums and videos ect..and I definitely agree that she should have been more recognized and more popular because I live in Ontario Canada and they only play her old music on the radio, I've called many time and asked if they could play a more resent song but I keep getting told it's not on the top 40. Well how do songs get up there if it doesn't get played? I don't understand. I saw her on Oct 18th in Monteal for the first time in my life! I got married this past August and my husband bought us tickets to see her! Omg I was in tears of joy, I couldn't believe I was their! I swear it was one of the best days of my life!

WWE wouldnt be what it is without her and WWE helped launch her career too as they discuss in the documentary. WWE played a massive role in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun being a hit. The Rock and Wrestling Connection. It's shocking she isnt in the WWE HOF. I can only assume maybe she turned them down as others have or that she has move past that. She does seem to embrace that in her interviews.

Cyndi was there through my formative years, and I will always love her. She is unapologetically herself. She led a whole generation of girls through their awkward stages. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was our anthem growing up. Keep doing you, beautiful lady. You still look and sound fantabumazing. Wish I could speak to you just one time for a few minutes to let you know how you influenced an entire generation of young girls to just be themselves, and have fun doing it. Love you Ms. Lauper.
