Thank you so much! Agreed! My grandma does her’s on the stove top and she use a combination of the pressure cooker and a larger sauce pan. I’m not a fan of the pressure cooker so I use the oven instead.👍🏾
@@ChefAliCookingShow my Mom only uses the stove with the large pot. Seasonings are diced up and all added to the mixture with water now and then to soften it up. Then she makes a different batch for the gravy. That's how i do it also. Bless up chef 🙏🏾

Good question, I have never made this without using a oven so I can’t answer you on that, I would have to experiment to see how it turns out if I don’t to give you an answer.
I’ve never tried making it in a crockpot but it should taste delicious either way. However, I would brown the meat on stove top first for more flavor before cooking in the crockpot 👍🏾
